(Trigger warning:- The chapter contains small violence)

Amara always thought she had witnessed the cruel side of Killian and nothing could get worse than it. How wrong was she?

Because at that moment, she knew the cruelty of Killian had no bounds. In the world of humans, he's a devil that lurks behind in the flesh and soul of a man. A heartless man who could cross any limits to satisfy his ego and strive back for revenge, even if it meant destroying the life of an innocent soul.

The sight of Rose and Samuel tied to a pole with their hands hanging high filled her with dread. Their heads were hung low and body seemed as if it was on the verge of collapsing. Although they had no physical injuries on their body, their condition didn't look less than tortured, mentally and emotionally. They looked physically drained as if they didn't have any strength inside them.

A strong arm encircled her waist, pulling her close against a rock-hard chest as if he owned her. Amara gasped as she felt K

I want him to regret this very time,Amara will lose the baby, and be on the hospital bed with no will of living,no will of fulfilling her dreams,no will to go out to college because she thinks this will harm more people,no will to do anything and follow like a robot like her soul is dead then see him

Just when I was thinking that killian deserves a chance but he proved me wrong he doesn't deserves any chance.....the stress from this will make her lose her baby and I think herself too.... killian deserves to go through that pain where he sees Amara on the verge of dying because of his actions

  • Revenge, Regret And Redemption: Bound In Contract Marriage   Chapter 84

The weekend had finally arrived. Amara stood in front of her college, backpack slung over one shoulder, packed with everything she’d need for the trekking trip. She had already spoken to Aiden, and to her surprise, he’d approved her leave and even made it a paid one. She knew he was giving her special treatment, and though she’d tried to argue, he simply wouldn’t hear it.“Amara!”She turned at the sound of familiar voices. Chloe and Everly were heading toward her, each carrying their own backpack, grinning from ear to ear.“I still can’t believe you’re actually coming with us!” Everly said, practically bouncing. “This is going to be so much fun. I’m so glad they combined the seniors and juniors for this trip.”“I know, right?” Chloe added. “Even though we’re in different buses, we’ll be together once we reach the campsite. It’s going to be amazing!”For the first time in days, Amara felt a real smile form on her lips. “Yeah, I’m actually looking forward to it,” she admitted. What onc

Amara couldn’t make sense of the letter. Who could have sent this? There weren’t many people in her life whose names started with the letter Z. Well, there was one, Zayden, but she seriously doubted he’d even notice his mistake, let alone take the effort to send her a note. As far as she knew, he despised her. She was certain of it, down to her core. Just two days ago, he had made it crystal clear that she was to stay away from him. If someone had threatened her that fiercely, why would they suddenly reach out now with a mysterious piece of paper? It didn’t make any sense. The thought lingered in the back of her mind as she sat at her desk. Morning had just begun, she was already ten minutes early for class, and only a handful of students were present in the room. Fortunately for Amara, the person occupying her thoughts never showed up. He was absent during the first lecture, and even the second passed without a glimpse of him. By then, it was obvious that Zayden wasn’t coming to

The next day, Amara woke up later than usual, panic setting in the moment she glanced at the time. She rushed through her morning routine and bolted out of the house, barely managing to reach college just before the professor arrived. As she stepped into the classroom, her steps faltered. Zayden was already seated. On her desk. He looked up, as if sensing her presence. Her body tensed, breath catching as her eyes locked with his for a brief moment. He sat there like he owned the space, back straight, one arm resting lazily over the desk. His eyes were on her, dark, calm and unreadable. She immediately dropped her gaze, her throat tightening as the memory of his threats from yesterday twisted in her gut like a warning. Without thinking, she turned to find another seat. But just as she took a step away, the Professor's voice halted her. “Amara,” The Professor called her out. “Go sit down. You’re already late, don’t waste more time.” She hesitated, frozen in place as eve

"I-I..." she stammered, shrinking back into the wall as if trying to melt into it. Her throat tightened, and the words died before they could escape, swallowed by the fear that gripped her entirely. Every inch of her screamed to vanish, to be anywhere but here. A muscle in Zayden's jaw ticked, his forehead taut with restrained fury, the air between them thick with tension. "Why the fuck are you always around me?" Zayden hissed, his voice low, strained, like a thread pulled too tight, ready to snap. His hands were still braced on either side of her against the wall, caging her in, but it wasn’t just the physical space he had cornered her into, it was emotional too, suffocating for her. She trembled, her back flat against the wall. Her wide eyes darted up to meet his, but she wished they hadn't, because what stared back at her wasn’t just anger. It was something darker and unstable. “I-I didn’t mean—” she whispered, voice barely audible. “Don’t.” He snapped before she could fin

Amara gently stirred the vegetables simmering in the pan, her breakfast now, and inevitably her lunch later. Mornings were the only time she had to cook as once she got back from college, there was barely a moment to spare before heading to her part-time job at Aiden’s office. It was just past seven, and with most of her morning chores already done, she finally had a quiet moment to eat and gather herself before the long day ahead. Just as Amara closed the lid of the pan, her phone rang. She frowned, wondering who would be calling this early in the morning. Wiping her hands on the towel, she walked over to the couch and picked up her phone, only to see the name of the orphanage flashing on the screen. Her heart skipped a beat as she answered it immediately. "Hello—" "Amara!" Lucas's loud voice burst through the speaker, making her flinch. Her face tensed in alarm, heart racing with fear that something had happened. "Lucas? What happened? Are you oka—" "I’m so happy, Amara! The gi

Men are foolishly brave creatures. They confuse silence with surrender. Mistake absence for weakness. And when the devil disappears for a while, they start to believe he's no longer a threat. That he's turned soft. Distracted by fatherhood. Changed by marriage. But the devil doesn't change.Killian had only taken a pause from the mafia world, for Kiara, for his daughter who had become the center of his universe. He hadn't touched a gun or spilled blood in months. Hadn't reminded the world of the name that once made grown men piss their pants in boardrooms and alleyways alike. And that was all it took for the rats to crawl out of the cracks. They thought his silence meant submission. They mistook his distance for defeat. And in their arrogance, they dared to mess with him. They fucking dared to betray him.A shipment worth ten million was intercepted, diverted from its original path, and handed over to his rival.
