“Happy 5th anniversary, babe.” June kissed my cheeks. I blushed. Even though we’re almost 5 years together, the spark wouldn’t fade off. I really love this guy and it’s been my dream to live with him for a lifetime, although next month, that dream would be my reality forever because finally, we’re getting married.

“Are you enjoying your steak?” He smiled and drank the wine he’s holding. I tugged some of my hair strands behind my ear because they’re swaying in my face too much. We’re having our dinner on the rooftop where he prepared candle lights, one romantic table and some luxurious meal.

“Yeah.” I smiled sweetly. The moon is shining so bright tonight that I don’t need any light to see June’s handsome face.

“Hmm, too bad..” he uttered and it made me confused, “Too bad since this will be our last night together,”  he continued and I froze.

“What a-are you even saying?” I chuckled even though I was still shocked. Is he joking? Maybe, there’s no way he would say those things seriously.

“Man..” He put his hands on his forehead and pushed some of his front hair backwards. Then he smirked at me. His angelic expression that I always see is now gone. He’s looking at me as if I’m the most disgusting thing he has ever seen.

“J-June, are you drunk?” I was about to get near him but he pushed me even before I could touch him. I couldn’t process everything that’s happening. He’s acting very weird and strange. This is not the June I know.

“Are you that stupid?”

“What?” My tears are starting to cloud my eyes.

“Hah!”

“June! Stop playing a prank—“ He cuts me off when he pulled me up to stand and dragged me near the edge of the rooftop. My heart’s beating was something I couldn’t describe. It’s fast yet I can still breathe fine.

“W-what are you—“

“Don’t you get it?” He smirked. “I was using you from the start, and right now, I’m getting tired of you. You’re such a pathetic girl did you know that?”

I can’t answer him because it’s like there’s something in my throat. Everything he says makes me wish that this is just a dream. He’s not June. This is not my boyfriend for five years.

“What? Cat got your tongue?”

I started sobbing. This can’t be real.

“Augh. You’re so annoying. Did you know that all this time I hated you? I was just using you because you have some money and your family is wealthy, but your sister is hotter than you and smarter too. Did you know?” I was looking at him with teary and confused eyes. Why is he involving my sister now? What is really happening? Earlier he was just sweet as a cake, but now he’s like one of the devils.

“Did you know that I and your sister fucked multiple times behind your back?”

My eyes widened after he said those words.

“She’s so much sexier than you and oh! Did you also know that we’ve been planning this from the start?”

“J-June, please stop saying weird things!” I cried out when I finally found my voice.

“Oh, so you can still talk.” His voice is full of disappointment.

“Please.” I sniffed. My body is getting weaker. The things I heard from June, is it true? No, they couldn’t have done that! I’m sure my sister loves me.

“Tsk. Look here you bitch." He grabbed my chin harshly. “You’re going to die here today and  Navia and I will live happily ever after.”

It’s like my whole senses became numb. Especially when he pushed me off. Everything slowed down.

Am I..falling?

June’s face was still smirking.

Did he push me? Why? We love each other. We love each other so much.

My mouth gaped open when I saw a face pop out next to him. It was none other than my sister, wearing a wicked smile as she watches me fall from this 20 story building.

I tightly closed my eyes. Is this the end? Isn’t it too unfair? I only wanted to live life with the man I love! Is that wrong for me to dream about?!

I clenched my teeth. If God would grant me another life, I’ll make sure to find out everything and get revenge on those two!

  • Revenge Wedding   CHAPTER SEVENTEEN

Days have passed. I don't know what to do since I've witness a lot of things I didn't remember in the past. I've been trying to connect a lot of things to figure out what to do next.I'm no stupid enough to depend on my memories of my last life, but atleast it will be a basis of my next moves.Surprisingly Navia didn't do anything at the moment. It's a little scary because even her moves are now different.Right now, I'm contemplating life alone in my room. Father is at work, my grandmother somehow wanted to visit the orphanage that she grew up with and Navia went out with Van.I don't want to doubt my memories but...What if everything was just a dream? What if it really didn't happen? Cause it's the only right reason for these things. It makes my heart throb. It makes my heart also drop down my gut. The feeling is heavy. What if it's all in my head? That Navia hated me? And what if June really did love me?Wait — Scratch that jerk. He lied about being married.I jolted up when I re

  • Revenge Wedding   Chapter SIXTEEN

“A date? Did you hit your head or something?” I asked in disbelief. He chuckled. “Come on, you're acting as if I'm not a sweet person.” He turned in a corner. “Plus, we're a team. I need to know the whole plan, your enemies, your doubts,” he continued.I crossed my arms in my chest and stared blankly at the man driving while wearing a smug look. “Why so?” I questioned his skanky ass. For some reason, he's a little more energetic today. “Stop pouting.” He reached out and pinched my nose gently. I slapped his hands away and glared but he just laughed and shrugged it off.I rolled my eyes, looks at the window and sighed. Should I continue entertaining my hatred towards my sister and my ex-boyfriend who killed me in the past? The thing is, they're different now and it's understandable since I'm the only one who knows what happened. But... the things that are occurring is making me falter. It's obviously not the same before. Sure there are other similar things t

  • Revenge Wedding   CHAPTER FIFTEEN

“A-Aw – hey, watch it, man!” Gin lets Van go soon after he shoves him inside the car. I just shook my head in disbelief and at how much noise they are.“Let’s go.” My reflexes went ahead of me. When Gin was about to grab my hands, I quickly flinched away.I have no idea why I did that, but I guess it's because of my reflexes and how stress is throwing me under the bus this past few days.I mean, who would be relaxed after everything that happened?Gin looked surprise at my reaction but I just smiled awkwardly. Sure, I was in denial about it two days ago. I honestly have a little resentment towards him, and I feel a little bit awkward. My feelings can’t help it since I was betrayed by the people I thought loved me dearly. It’s a trauma response.“Are you angry?” His voice sounded worried.I shook my head. "No, just a little tired.” Then J leaned on the car seat and sighed deeply. I haven't started with my plan yet, but

  • Revenge Wedding   CHAPTER FOURTEEN

Those days passed by like nothing had happened. The death of a stranger seems meaningless. I waited for a family, at least, to show up and claim her body at the morgue, and no one came. When we buried her body, not even the other maids who claimed to know her attended, it was just me, Gin, and dad. It’s been three days ever since I’ve confronted Navia, too, and just yesterday, I found out that she’s no longer staying in the house because she’s starting a business. I have no idea what is it, even my father. On the other hand, my grandmother is busy handling the company affairs since this month is a rush sale.“You’re pouting again.” Gin’s voice knocked my senses, “You okay?”“What do you think?” I sarcastically bite back.“I think she’s far from that.” The blonde freak sitting on the back of the car squished in.I rolled my eyes. I completely forgot about his e

  • Revenge Wedding   CHAPTER THIRTEEN

The police asked the father to come with them for interrogation, and Gin insisted on coming along with my father. At first, my dad complained, but he couldn’t argue with Gin, who seemed determined. The police also asked for assistance for Navia and me, but my father intruded and said we were too shocked and left us for another day, to which the police agreed immediately. It was not a surprise since my father is influential enough to sway this case. I hope nothing worse will happen.I paced back and forth in my room. The last words of that strange maid echoed on my mind.Everyone in the house gossiped about the sudden death of that maid. Everywhere I go, I always hear what happened, and it can’t get off my mind. I can’t even calm down a little bit. I was sweating all over my body while that creepy voice of the maid played like a song on loop on my head.Someone knows something about my past self. Why are they after me? Why is it that they intend

  • Revenge Wedding   CHAPTER TWELVE

“Have you ever considered talking to birds?”“What? Are you stupid?”Gin chuckled after hearing my statement. How can he make such a stupid question every time we see each other?“Shut up and start acting your age, alright?” I whispered back to him when we finally sat at the table. It’s been a week since those incidents happened. That week made me feel hell for a bit. Yesterday, my dad and my grandma came back from the business trip they had gone through. Of course, the next thing would be predictable; he finds out that both his daughters have a fiancée and keep on visiting and staying at the house every day.Surprisingly, it was peaceful between the four of us. Navia didn’t pull any tricks or stunts to me, which seemed suspicious. On the other hand, Gin keeps on asking dumb questions every God damn time that it irks me, but it also helps me get my mind off my problems. I think my feelings for
