Focus on my goal

TRISTAN’S POV

I decided to avoid Aria for some time because of my suspicions.

I don’t want us to have any attached feelings to each other because I believe that love ruins things most of the time.

“Yeah, that’s my belief,”

“Even if I have any feelings for whosoever, I will always try to quench it and focus on my goal,” I thought and smiled.

A knock on the door disrupted my thoughts as I jolted back to reality.

I quickly comported myself well, before telling the person to come in.

The door to my chamber opened and I saw one of the guards walking in.

“Your highness, you’re summoned by the pack elders,” He announced with his head bowed.

I nodded and dismissed him.

I stood and breathed deeply before leaving my chamber.

On my way to the meeting room, I met Aria heading to the sparring room and I quickly tried to dodge her by passing another route, but unfortunately for me, she saw me earlier and called out for me loudly.
