ALPHA ROLLINGS POV

The loose papers were scattered across the room as I cleared my desk in a flash of anger.

Nothing was going right lately. Everything was falling apart.

“Alpha, if I may speak freely?” My beta, Leo, broke the awkward silence within the room. My chief accountant and pack advisors sat wide-eyed and terrified to move.

“Speak!”

“Alpha, I think it is the curse.” Leo started. “Think about it, none of this kind of crap started until we made the deal with the devil and now here we are. We are the ones suffering vengeance from the Goddess, while the Devil lies in the shadows and his Delta fuc.ks the traitorous who.re who sold out her own family and pack. They’re up there, making deals and cutting us out. We are being used as a scapegoat for them.”

What my Beta is saying are things already drumming in my head. I fu.cked up. I knew I did the moment I walked into their damn trap, but what could I do.

I needed to find a way to make amends to the Goddess. I needed to redeem myself

NARRATIVE POV“Tia is relaxed here because this is the first time in her life that it wasn’t her against the pack. Can you imagine how liberating and inspiring that must be for her and her wolf?” Luna Carissa’s eyes danced with mischief. As though she knew a secret that no one else knew, but Miles wanted to, especially if it was about Tia.“How’d you build this? It isn’t at all what we’ve been told back home.” Miles had to admit, he also felt some way when he had learned that a rogue pack had taken a traditionally established pack by force and claimed it as their own. The stories surrounding the mysterious untouchable rogue pack grew until the gossip took on a life of its own. But standing there, the energy in the pack was light. It was like a welcoming hug, and his wolf, Bane, was not on as high alert as he thought they might be.“Come, there is a lot to learn and to share.” Luna Carissa called out to the newly arrived pair. Luna Carissa turned and locked eyes with Tia. There was a d

NARRATIVE POVMiles and Tia arrived at the gates of the Slaughtered Lambs pack. This was her first time entering the right away, through the front of the pack. It was significantly more impressive. The guards at the gate greeted her with a smile, as they recognized her from her last visit, but they met Miles' gaze with heavy, unchecked suspicion.“He is with me,” Tia stated calmly. Her tone was clipped, leaving no room for further discussion.“Alpha Beast and Luna Carissa await you at the packhouse. Welcome back, Miss Tia.” The guard nodded, and the gate lifted, allowing their SUV to enter the road leading into the pack town.Miles watched the scenery. He took in every detail. It wasn’t as polished as his pack, but maybe that was for the best. It held a small-town vibe that he found himself not entirely hating. Was this the atmosphere that Tia wanted for the Cherry Ridge pack? He could manage residing in a small town, and a charming type of pack. The Fisher Brookes pack had many expan

HILARY POV“You’re awake. Good.” Alpha Kane's deep voice broke into the room.I took in his appearance.Although he seemed to be living off the grid, he was dressed nicely. Like really nice. It made me wonder if he had secret backers behind him supporting his escape and nefarious ways. His snug black pants were explicitly sculpted for his body alone, leaving nothing to the imagination. His semi-firm co.ck pressed tightly down to the mid-thigh. I still couldn’t believe I had taken him all. I wasn’t sure I would feel any other male enter me now. He was too big, too savage in his thrusts, too frequent in his pursuits. But I loved every moment of it.His crisp black dress shirt perfectly framed his built, muscular, toned body. The top three buttons were strategically left unbuttoned, revealing just enough to create a teasing effect. Boys, was he teasing a girl's willpower and restraint? The sleeves were rolled to mid-forearm, and the veins on his arms and neck were all visible for my filt

HILARY POVThe thin, flat silver-coloured sheet wrapped around my ankle as I regained consciousness. Everything from the previous night was a blur, but as my body became more awake, my memories became more vivid, coming back with greater detail. It was midnight, and I waited by the Eastern border of the Raven Peak pack. I clutched the small burner phone my secret admirer had sent me while waiting. The crickets chirped nearby, met with hoots and scattered woodland sounds.I saw no patrol warriors, which I found to be odd.The Ravens Peak pack was a proud and, some might suggest, overprotective pack. Yet, I could walk out of the packhouse unnoticed, guide my way through the depths of the lush forest, and teeter on the line of the Eastern border. All unnoticed? As suspicious as I was, I was also done with the games and needed to know who was messaging me. I needed to know if Alpha Rollings and the leech stuck to my side, Delta Price, were planning to betray me and steal my rightful pack

BETA MILES POV“I mean every word. Why don’t you tell them the truth, mother? Why don’t you tell them the lies you’ve poisoned the pack with?” The timber in my voice rose the more I spoke. I was shaking, and I was so angry with the family members before me. Their complacency was appalling.“Son, we are aware that your mother has been standoffish and not the warmest towards Tia. However, it is understandable that she would be this way, given her reputation.” My father attempted to de-escalate the situation, but it only fueled me more. My eyes burned with an unspeakable promise of violence if he didn’t stop. He was smart enough to detect it and did just that. But Tyson wasn’t so aware.Tyson came around the desk and stood before me.“You need to step back and calm down, Miles,” he warned. My eyes were laser-focused, but not on him; they were on my mother. “Tell them!” I roared. I wasn’t going to hold back any longer, and I could see her rolling the ideas of her next move in her head. I

  • Revenge of the Alpha's Bratty Daughter   Chapter 77

BETA MILES POVI was shaking with anger. No, pure unadulterated fury! I had never felt such a strong emotion before. It wasn’t directed at Tia. No, everything she said was true. I felt it. Bane felt it.Someone hurt her, and I would find out who it was.I also knew where to start. After Tia’s back was out of sight, my head turned around, and I stared with blazing eyes of pure wrath and locked onto my brothers. He knew. There wasn’t anything within this pack that my twin didn’t know was happening. The look in his eyes told me that much. There was a hint of regret and shame.I watched him look to his left, and my mother and father stood there. It was my mother. She was the one responsible. There was no doubt in my mind that she was behind Tia’s sudden desire to leave and her mistreatment here.My eyes stayed trained on the three as I advanced up the steps to head into the pack house. I wanted them to know that I was coming. I wanted my mother to see that she had crossed a line with me.
