A week passed, and the days were going uneventful. The threat was still lingering out there, but we were better at dealing with it now.

I was still staying in the Blood Moon Pack, doing my routines, which added to making snacks or lunch for the warrior. Meanwhile, he allowed me to leave the pack house as far as the warrior barrack. And I occasionally went there with Jenna and Nicole to drop off the food.

Today wasn't exceptional. We planned to make lunch for the warrior. We would cook dumpling soup since it was raining, and warm food was the best in this situation.

I was in charge of filling dumplings, but because the omegas were still preparing ingredients, I was helping to wash shrimp.

But then, a faint cedarwood scent entered my nose. Though it mixed with a lot of smells in the kitchen, I could recognize him, and it was like waking up my mind. He must be home now.
