LUCIAN

The next day came as all other days before it had. Forcing my eyes open was the easy part. It was a routine I was well used to. My body worked with something along the lines of an inner clock. It was almost near hard—impossible even—for me to wake up late. Except for the few occasions where I let myself indulge in a bit of liquor.

Apart from that, I was usually pretty diligent with when I got out of bed. Today however was a bit different.
