Chapter Ten

I looked out the window and saw a sign that was all too familiar to me, ‘Madam Maggie’s Closet’.

“Why am I here?” I quizzed, still dazed.

She raised her eyebrow questioningly, “who do you think I am? Your personal chauffeur?”

Here I was, thinking that we were bonding. Never trust a werewolf, I said to myself mentally. “But why here though? Matt would certainly come looking for me here and he would drag me back to his house.”

Cecil was quiet for a while, like she was considering what I said. “How did you meet Matt?” she asked.

“I was just going about my normal day at the brothel, and then he saw me, asked to spend the night with me and before I know it, he bought me like a common commodity and dragged me to his home.” I can still remember it like it was yesterday.

She nodded, “well I don’t care where it is you want to go to. I said I would get you out of the house and I did. So you are on your own from here.”
