Chapter 27 - Abigail

Theo POV

“Let’s go”, I say, grabbing the bag from her hand and storming out of the house. She follows me, and we walk to the car. She smiles when she sees it, and I know she recognises it. It’s my oldest car and my favourite. I used to take her on drives in this car around the coast.

“Get in”, I bark, shoving the bag into the boot of the car. She nods her head and gets inside. When I sat, I asked her for the address of my daughter's school, and she gave it. We drive, and I can see a rundown school. Kids running around playing American football, and I grab the steering wheel with all the strength that I have before I walk out of the door and open the back door so Agnes can follow me.

“You’re going to check her out now”, I say, and she nods her head as we walk into the school.
