Chapter 56 - help

Theo POV

“How did you two meet?”, I ask before shoving some bacon in my mouth and watching them. They both look at each other and then at me and smile. I have to say I can’t remember the last time I saw Agnes smiling like that. It’s good that she is happy, but she wanted in this world, and she got it, if her feelings are real or not I have no clue.

Abigail sits back on her chair and has some cereal, and when she is done, she excuses herself and goes back to her room, where she will have some tutoring. She is being home-schooled, obviously, because we can’t risk her being out. Not with Christopher after her. And me now, because I fucking betrayed him. Oh well.

“It’s a long story,” Elena says, and I sit back on my chair as I finish my food just sipping on my coffee.

“I think we’ve got time”, I sa
