Chapter 28 - Everly
Theo POV
“Boss, you have to see this”, I hear one of my men say. I turn around and look at him, and he passes me his phone. He has been taking tabs on Everly and Spider. Spider has been keeping him updated on everything, and today he is taking Everly to a meeting with all the potential new leaders of the American mafia. Fucking great. That has everything been fucked up and exploded in their faces.
I walk straight into Abigail’s room, and she is sitting on the floor playing with her Legos. She looks distracted. I knock a little on the door, and she turns around to face me while still sitting on the floor. But when her eyes meet mine, she stands up and hugs her teddy bear.
“Aby, I need to go out. I’m going to leave Rosa here”, I say, and she nods her head, lowering her eyes to the floor. Her sadness is breaking my heart. This girl deserves everything to make her happy. But hopefully, from tomorrow, she will get some sort of norm
