Continued from the previous part....

"Come in" I said and watched as the door swung inwards, exposing the person behind the door who was most certainly not 'Room service'

My mouth immediately went dry, my legs shook underneath me as the ghost of my past strode into my bridal suite and shut the door soildly behind him.

What the fuck?!

Kain turned to me, a wide smile on his face "Long time no see Elly"

From across the room, I could see the changes 12 years had brought on Kain Griffin. He was buffer, more muscular, his pitch black hair curled around his face like a noir curtain, his cold, dark eyes had a few smile lines around them. He still sported that gold nose ring that curved around his left nostril snugly, his cherry red lips pulled back to expose his perfect pearly teeth in a smile that didn't reach his eyes.

He took a single step forward, drawing my attention to his clothes. He wore coal black suit with a crystal white dress shirt, a few buttons were undone, exposing his smooth tanned chest that I used to love sleeping on.

It was official, Kain Griffin was still sexy af

"Look at you" he spoke again, his deep baritone rumbling through me "All sexy in that fucking dress"

I took a step back, trying and failing to regain my composure "W-w-what are y-y-you doing here?" I managed to stammer out.

"Its quite obvious Sweetheart, I'm here for a wedding" he pointed a long, slender finger at me "Your wedding"

I took another step back, almost stumbling over my stilettos "You can't b-be here"

He scoffed "This isn't private property El, that means I can be here"

He stepped closer, his long legs eating up the space between us. He was close enough for me to get a whiff of his scent, it was still the same, Musk and spice.

I felt my stomach tighten, my panties becoming damp. Fuck! How can he turn me on with just his scent?

I saw his eyes trail over my face, stopping on my lips before dipping down to my cleveage.

I felt my nipples harden under his gaze and I silently cursed myself for not wearing a bra.

He sucked in a breath, his voice low and husky "Fuck, You look so fucking good"

Slowly, I took a step back, trying to put some space between us and calm myself down "Why are you here?

He answered, his gaze still locked on my cleavage "Must we go round in circles Elliott? I'm here to attend my ex-wife's wedding" he paused and grinned, his eyes finally meeting mine "To watch her get married to the man of her dreams" he tilted his head questionably "He is the man of your dreams right Killa?"

That nickname, that fucking nickname "Don't call me that" I whispered.

"Why?" He replied, stepping even closer "Answer the question"

Restrained anger I had bottled up for so long burst forth like a broken dam and I felt my fists curl, my composure was back and I let out a low hiss "Fuck off Kain"

I don't have to be nice to him or polite. He doesn't deserve my courtesy.

He chuckled lowly "Uuu! I love it when you curse in the same sentence as my name" he chimed, grinning brightly. Suddenly his grin fell, his face now neutral, his eyes black and barren.

"Don't marry him" he breathed, his intense stare sending shivers down my spine.

He was staring at me the same way he stared at me the day I left him.

"What?!" I uttered in disbelief. He did not just say that?

Before I could even blink, his hand had shot out and yanked me to him, his arm an iron band around my waist. I opened my mouth to scream but his hand clamped down on my mouth.

I struggled against him but he just chuckled darkly and tightened his grip, bending to whisper huskily in my ear "I'll be so fucking good if you don't marry him, I'll be a good little boy and do all the things you like" he paused and placed the tiniest of kisses behind my ear, sending a shiver down my spine "I'll eat your pussy and suck on that pretty little clit until you lose your voice from screaming" I felt him smile against my face "you want that don't you?"

Past carnal thoughts started flooding my mind and I felt my body react to his dirty words, my panties grew wet, my clit throbbed and all I wanted to do was feel his thick, long, hard dick that was pressing against my stomach right now, deep inside me.

"You do remember what my tongue can do, don't you Elly?" He said and I felt my clit give a powerful throb that almost paralyized me. I could never forget Kain Griffin's magical tongue.

I almost moaned when he started brushing his lips against the sensitive skin of my neck, I could feel the chill of his piercing and his hot breath.

Suddenly reality snapped back to me.

What the fuck am I doing?

I bit down on the hand covering my mouth but he didn't even flinch, he just continued brushing his lips against my skin.

Fight! My inner voice screamed.

I struggled against him, resurrecting my long forgotten strength. I brought my hands up, ripping his hand from my mouth, shoving at his chest until I was able to jerk out of his grip

I was panting, from the blinding anger slowly overtaking me. I managed to hiss, jabbing my finger at the door "Get out Kain"

He lowered his empty hands, flashing me a roughish grin "There's my Elly"

I jabbed again, crazy with rage "Get the fuck out!" I screamed.

I watched as his grin fell, his hands curling into fists. He was angry.

Slowly, he turned and stalked to the door, one hand on the knob, he turned back to me and stuck out his pierced tongue, winking playfully at me "Think about my tongue baby girl"

The door slammed and he was gone.

  • Ring   Chapter Sixteen: Back to Black(Part three)

Continued from the previous part. ~ She was daydreaming again… Dreaming, unrealistically. So unreal. A memory, a long forgotten memory. Kain was smiling as he opened the door to their new apartment with a flourish, pride evident in his movements as he held her hand and pulled her into the empty room. “I know this isn’t the apartment by the ocean we wanted” he started, wrapping his arms around her, his deep melodic voice by her ear, sending shivers down her spine “but its ours, our little home” Elliott looked around, at the obviously old but sturdy walls painted a soothing pale yellow, almost like an egg yolk, at the empty wooden floors in need of a firm polishing, at the wide windows that offered a nice overhead view of the town and the dark ocean bordering it,

continued from the previous part..... “I think I’m depressed” Dr Sybian Greer peered up at her patient, her scribbling slowing to a stop. She immediately asked, more of a reflex action than true concern “Why do you think you’re depressed Elliott?” Elliott took a deep breath, fiddling with the frayed end of her jean jacket, it was cold in the doctor’s office, it seemed she left the Ac on full blast despite the light snow falling outside. She shrugged, a pathetic rise and fall of her shoulders “I feel like I’m depressed” Sybian sighed and clicked off her pen, giving the forlorn woman her full attention “Depression is not something to be taken lightly Elliott” Silence fell over the pair until she spoke up again, her voice a teary whisper “I’m not happy doctor” she paused to sniffle, wiping at the tears

Chapter Sixteen. Back to Black. Toxic: very harmful or unpleasant in a pervasive or insidious way. Regret: a feeling of sadness, repentance or disappointment over an occurrence or something that one has done or failed to do. Elliott didn’t know what she was doing anymore. She was lost and it was showing. She kept getting stares as she stood stoically in the middle of the cosmetics aisle of the supermarket, her dull eyes fixed on a box of Trojan extra large condoms. She had been staring at the box of condoms for five minutes now, trying to decide whether to get them or not. The basket in her hand contained a gallon of milk, a box of Coco puffs, some grapes, a new razor and a box of brunette hair dye. She came to the store on a whim, being alone

Wait a minute! I don’t own silk sheetsI sat up too quickly, caugh

  • Ring   Chapter Fifteen: A finalized divorce(Part one)

Chapter Fifteen. A finalized divorce. Elliott. I held his hand tightly in mine as we strode down the sidewalk together, the crisp, slightly cool night air blew against my skin, ruffling my hair, bringing with it the scent of the sea. The tapping of my heels echoed on the asphalt as we continued walking, the comfortable silence stretching between us as we went. I wanted to ask him where he was taking me and why it was so far away from the apartment but I couldn’t find it in me to disrupt this peaceful stretch of stillness around us. I sucked in a breath and squeezed his fingers in mine slightly. Admittedly, I was getting a tad bit impatient. I had been waiting all day for this surprise. It was as if he could sense my agitation, he glanced at me, his eyes twinkling in the soft light emanating from the lamp posts

I still remember when I was 23, all those wild parties. Seems like a lifetime ago. I ran my hand through my disheveled hair and closed my eyes for a few seconds. I wonder
