Sleep becomes a distant memory for Ford. It isn’t even his workload from classes that’s keeping him up at night.

Usually it’s just him, staring at the ceiling, replaying everything in his head and wondering if he made the right decision. He knows he dumped Dallas out of his own insecurities, and it was kind of a shitty thing to do, but all he can think about is Dallas with that girl.

About all those things people said behind his back when he wore Dallas’s jersey. About how no one thought he was good enough for Dallas, even Ford himself. He wonders if Dallas is already moving on, flirting with other people, having a good time.

It’s only been two weeks since his break up with Dallas and Ford is already falling apart at the seams, every part of him feeling like a fraying edge, about to unravel.
