Chapter Nine: Meeting the Children

Seeing those two beautiful eyes of the sweet girl, Arthur started thinking about those two eyes that he would never see again. The eyes that always waited just to see him, the eyes that shone like stars at night when they looked at him.

Memories of the past suddenly came to his mind and his head started to ache. Arthur could not bear the intense pain and closed his eyes with his eyebrows furrowed.

Seeing his condition, Noah immediately asked in a worried voice, "Mr. George, are you okay? Let's go to the hospital"

Arthur stood up without saying anything. He rubbed his forehead and looked at his assistant then he spoke up, "Stay here until the guardians of these two children come to pick them up or the children return to their classes. Take them safely to their destination and then come to the headmaster's room."

After ordering Noah, Arthur started walking towards the headmaster's room without looking back. Noah wanted to follow his boss as soon as possible, so he looked at Ethan and Evan, then requested them in a soft tone, "Children, please tell me which class you are in. I will go with you to the classroom. No one will tell you anything."

After hearing Noah's words, Ethan and Evan did not answer and went back to playing with Alina. Noah looked at them with a disappointed look. He was worried about his boss.

After completing the admission process, Anastasia and Sara were coming towards the playground when Anastasia saw Noah and immediately stopped walking. She was stunned seeing Noah with her children.

"What is he doing here? Why is he with my children? When he is here, it means Arthur is here too. Anastasia panicked and looked around to see if Arthur was really there or not.

Sara looked at her and asked, "Miss William, what is the matter? You are looking pale, are you okay?'"

Anastasia looked around and when she saw that Arthur was not there, she sighed in relief. She looked at Sara and spoke up, "I am okay. There is no problem. You go and bring the children. I want to talk to the headmaster about something else. You take the children to the car. I will be there soon"

Hearing Anastasia's words, Sara nodded and left from there. When they left from there, Anastasia quickly came out of the school boundary and started waiting anxiously for them near the car.

After a while, Sara came out with everyone and they left from there.

On the other hand, in the headmaster's room,

Arthur looked at the headmaster and asked, "During class, I saw three children playing in the playground. Why are they playing in the playground instead of attending classes? Did the teacher punish them?"

Upon hearing Arthur's words, the headmaster immediately shook his head and said in a polite voice, "Sir, they came to take admission in the school today. They must have been playing in the playground while their Mother was doing the admission process."

Hearing the headmaster's words, Arthur nodded in understanding and then asked, "How many more seats are vacant?"

"There are no more vacant seats, sir. There were vacant seats and today they have been filled. Miss William came and admitted her two sons and one daughter here. I have admitted William's daughter as per your instructions." The headmaster said to him.

"What do you mean?" Arthur asked, a little surprised. "Miss William's daughter's body is half paralyzed. The lower part of her daughter's body is paralyzed. But I saw her report card from the previous school, she is a bright student" The headmaster answered.

Arthur felt very upset after hearing the headmaster's words. He felt very bad knowing that the sweet girl was in such a condition. He was really upset for an unknown reason. "Don't let that girl get into any trouble. Keep an eye on her," Arthur said, more like warned the headmaster.

Hearing Arthur's words, the headmaster was surprised. He looked at Arthur because Arthur had never paid special attention to any child till now.

"Of course sir, I will keep a special eye on that girl so that she doesn't get into any trouble. Of course, that girl won't get into any trouble because that girl's two brothers are standing by her like strong pillars. Listening to them, I understood clearly that they love their little sister very much and they are very protective and possessive of their sister.

Just as their Mother was worried about the girl's safety, these two boys were equally worried about their little sister," The headmaster said, and Arthur smiled softly, remembering the behavior of those two boys.

"I understand very well that the boys are very possessive towards their sister and very protective of her. They take care of her like she is their precious treasure" Arthur muttered with a faint smile.

"Sir, have you met them? That little girl looks like an angel. Of course, their Mother is also very beautiful. The father of such beautiful children is not alive. Their father is dead." The headmaster said in a sad tone.

Hearing this, Arthur looked at you and asked, "Who told you that their father is dead? Who gave you the right to interfere in their personal life?"

When the headmaster saw that Arthur was getting angry, he spoke up immediately, "I did not ask them any such question. In fact, while filling out the admission form, they wrote here that their father is dead. They did not even write their father's name. When I asked them to Al least write down the father's name they answered Their Father didn't worth it"

Hearing this, Arthur did not say anything else. He stood up and left the office room. When he came out of the office room, he saw Noah coming towards the office room.

When Noah stood next to him, Arthur looked at him and asked, "What about the children? Did the parents of the children take them from there?"

"Yes, Mr. George, the children's guardians have come and taken them home," Noah said and Arthur nodded.

"Did the security guards complete the task I asked them to do?" Arthur asked again.

"Yes, sir, they completed that task. Still, if you want to go and see everything with your own eyes, you can do it." Noah said.

"There is no need. Did you ask the children's parents when they will join school? Will those children come to school tomorrow?" Arthur asked again. He wanted to meet again. His heart was craving to meet them.

Noah was very surprised when Arthur kept asking about those children. "Boss, I didn't ask them whether they would come to school from tomorrow? And you have seen with your own eyes how the children behave. They don't answer anything I ask. They didn't even say a word to me after you left. But since they have been admitted to school, they will probably come to school from tomorrow," Noah said.

Hearing Noah's words, Arthur left without saying anything.

When the car left the school boundary, Anastasia breathed a sigh of relief. She kept thinking, what was Noah doing there? She couldn't understand what Arthur's assistant was doing at that school. Anastasia looked at the children and asked in a calm voice, "What was that guy telling you on the playground? Do you know why that guy came there?"

Evan was sitting in the car's backseat teaching Alina to solve the cube. Ethan looked at his Mother with an innocent look and said, "We don't know, Mom. Maybe he came to school to pick up his child. He was trying to talk to us, but since you forbid us from talking to strangers, we didn't talk to him."

Hearing this, Anastasia asked in a worried voice, "What was he asking you?" Anastasia did not want to let her children go around Arthur and anyone associated with him at any cost. She didn't even want Arthur's shadow to fall on her children.

"The guy was just asking us why we were playing during class instead of attending class? He didn't ask us anything else. Mom, do you know this guy? Why are you asking about him?" Ethan looked at his mother, deliberately asking her to change the topic.

Hearing Ethan's words, Anastasia immediately shook her head and said, "Of course not. I don't know him and it's a good thing you didn't talk to them. Don't talk to strangers."

"Of course, Mom, we won't talk to strangers and we won't go anywhere with strangers. We will do as you have taught us."

Hearing Ethan's words, Anastasia was happy and patted his head, "I know my children are very intelligent. They will do as their mother says."

Ethan smiled softly at his Mother's words and didn't say anything. When they reached home, Ethan and Evan entered the playroom to play with Alina, while Anastasia started getting ready to go to the company.

After getting ready, she entered the playroom and said to the children, "I am going to the company. I will try to come as soon as possible. Sara and Veera will be at home. So, if you need anything, tell them. Or you can call me if you want to eat. I will bring it."

Hearing Anastasia going to the company, Ethan and Evan looked at their Mother and said with a smile, "Best of luck, Mom. Don't worry about us. We will look after our sister"

And Alina asked in an innocent voice, "Mom, will you bring me chocolate when you get back from the office?" Anastasia knelt in front of Alina, gently kissed Alina's forehead, and said, "Of course, I will bring you your favorite chocolate, chips, and snacks when I get back from the office."

Alina smiled after hearing her Mother's words. Before standing up, Anastasia kissed Ethan and Evan on the foreheads, "Don't be too naughty and the three of you must stay together. I will try to come back soon." Then she left the room.

"Miss William, I will go with you. I am your assistant," Sara said to Anastasia.

Anastasia looked at her and said, "It is more important for you to stay here with the children than to go with me. If you are not with the kids, I will be worried every moment. If there's anything I need, I will call you. I can't leave Alina with Ethan and Evan. You know her condition, so stay with the kids and take care of them." Sarah didn't say anything else after hearing Anastasia's words, she just nodded.

Anastasia came out of the house and got into the car.

At George Company

A cold atmosphere prevailed in Arthur's cabin.

Arthur was looking at his assistant and the detective with a look that sent chills down their spine.

Arthur dressed in an expensive blue custom-made suit, was lounging in the main seat of the semicircle leather sofa while drumming his fingers on the armrest. His entire demeanor gave off a cold vibe, causing the temperature in the room to drop abruptly.

Noah and the detectives stood in front of him with their heads bowed. "So you came here to tell me that you failed to find a girl. You came here to tell me this news after 24 hours?"

Hearing Arthur's stern voice, the two detectives lowered their heads in shame and said, "We have no excuse, Mr. George. When we went to collect CCTV footage at this airport, we did not find any CCTV footage there. The security guards were saying that due to a problem with the camera, all the CCTV footages of two hours were deleted. We have been trying to get back the deleted CCTV footage for the last 24 hours, but we were not able to do so. And since we do not know the name of that girl, we could not identify her from the passenger list either.

Sir, we are very ashamed. It is a big failure for us that we failed to follow your instructions. But we have not given up yet. Anyway, we will find that girl and bring her before you. We have collected CCTV footage from the shops outside the airport. If you can identify the girl by looking at the CCTV footage, we will get to work immediately."

Hearing the detective's words, Arthur asked him with a cold smile. "So you mean to say that I will now watch the footage instead of doing my job? Is it what you really mean?" The two detectives did not say anything else after Arthur's words.

They just stood there with their heads down. Then Noah, showing great courage, said in a timid voice, "Boss, since I have seen the girl, if you give me permission, I will identify her by looking at the CCTV footage."

Arthur looked at Noah and said, "What you do is not my concern, Noah. I want that girl. I must discover her identity"

"Then I will look into it right away, Mr. George" Noah said and left from there.
