5- Weak

I howl in agonizing pain when his sharp canines dig into my fur and a piece of my skin was chucked out.I thrash around in an attempt to free myself but to no avail.

Another scream in the distance cringed my insides in fear.The voice belonged to Amia.I growl and bite the wolf on his head and with whatever strength I could muster, I throw him away.However he doesn't fall far than a couple of inches.

I quickly got up on my four in order to run in the direction of Amia's audible screams but when stinging pain shot through my back, I move around to snarl at the wolf only to feel his canines pierce into my skin again.The pain so intense that my vision blurred with tears.I feel a heavy weight on my back which forces me down harshly on the muddy ground.

"Take her as well" A rough manly voice ripped through the air.My eyes darted up to the man who stood a couple of steps away.His skin was painted with countless scars, a long visible one starts from his cheek down to the neck.

The menacing look in his eyes sent a strong shiver of uneasiness down my spine.Two more wolves emerged from the dark woods and shifted back to their human form before approaching me.

The one wolf on top of me grabs me by my face and forces my mouth open while the other opens his fist revealing a tiny container.

He opened the cap and the strong smell of wolfsbane hit my nostrils.I panic, wiggling around in hope to free myself but it only pissed them off.

"Quit trying, Omega.You can not fight even one of us" He sneered, and poured a few drops of wolfsbane in my mouth.The liquid burned through my throat, the sensation further continued making me howl out in excruciating pain.

"Hurry.I would hate to waste my energy on others" The man who keeps on commanding must be a leader of them.

The wolfsbane in my system forced me to shift back.My body feels too heavy to move.

"This one got a thick ass"

"We got two omegas to feast on.I bet others will be thrilled"

They talked to each other, laughing at my state as they dragged me through the muddy ground.

From my peripheral vision, I spotted Amia's body being dragged as well.My eyes grew heavy, the exhaustion battled to dawn upon me but I forced myself awake to keep track of where we could be taken to.

"Alert!"

They panicked, picking their pace causing my body to brush harshly against the surface.

A loud growl crippled through the air.The grip on my arm was gone.The loud noises of growling, snarling and all the ruffle reached my ear.I attempted to move but my body didn't support me.All strength had dissipated.

"Elysia" The familiar voice pulls at my heart strings then I feel arms around me lifting me up.Warmth surged through me.His honey like scent dissipated my uneasiness.

"When I told you to go it didn't mean to run carelessly into the dark forest" Alpha Nikona said roughly.His face was hardly visible but when I caught a glimpse, all I noticed was blood.

"Amia" I uttered out hoarsely, worried that my voice wasn't audible enough.

"She is safe" He said.Relief washed over me and I finally let my eyes shut.However his next words sent a pang of pain through my chest before I succumbed to darkness.

"I told you.Omegas are weak"

I woke up to the loud sound of metal clashing.My eyes instantly darted to the door that was half open but no one in sight.Frowning, my curious eyes roamed around in the hospital room before landing on the drop of blood that was oozing out of my arm.

My ears perked up at the soft groan coming from somewhere in the room.I grimaced in pain and forced my aching limbs to pull myself up.My eyes widened at the sight on the floor.

A nurse laying flat on his stomach, underneath his arms lay a IV fluid pouch with its stand a few inches away from his face.

He slowly lifts himself up, flashing me an awkward nervous smile.

"I am sorry.I didn't intend on disturbing your sleep" He said and hurriedly picked up the IV stand to keep it as it was.

"The floor is very slippery.One could skate on them" He laughs quietly, sounding embarrassed.His eyes moved to my arm and he gasped.

"Shit! I am so dumb.Are you in pain?" He inquires, grabbing my hand and studying it.

"I am alright, Rick" I smile as he cleans the blood of my hand before checking the reports.Rick was the only male nurse in our Pack Hospital.He was made fun of most of the time by others but it didn't stop him once.He is the type of man I would consider myself having a relationship with.Unfortunately, he has a mate.Already committed to one of the Doctor's daughter.

I sigh softly when the events from last night flashed before my eyes.From the Ball to the Rogues in the dark forest.

Amia is not Alpha Nikona's mate.

I am.

He is an egoistic sick Alpha whose views on Omegas are unfair and cheap.

His wolf is scary.

Amia is his girlfriend.

I groan in annoyance with all the running thoughts in my head.

"Elysia, you are going to be feeling lightheaded for a day or two and your wolf will take at least a week to heal.So for now, enjoy being a human" He finished his sentence with a light joke at the end.As much as I love my wolf, I am glad to know she will not be active for a week.I can take this time to figure out things between Amia, me and Alpha Nikona.

"Rick, How is Amia?" I asked, concerned and curious whether she was more hurt than me.

"She is doing alright.Her wolf will be inactive for a week as well"

Rick left after telling me that I will be discharged soon.I got out of the bed and stepped out of the room to check up on Amia.She was in the ward next to mine.

I quietly opened the door and peek inside where sat Amia on the bed with Mom and Dad next to her.Amia was crying and my heart ached.I don't know whether it was because of her crying or the fact that they didn't check up on me.

I shake off those thoughts as fast as they have arrived.Inhaling a deep breath, I stepped inside.Three of their heads turned to me.

Nerves scaled up past my chest under the intensity of their heavy gaze.Guilt washed over me for being the reason behind Amia's tears.

"Elysia, are you alright honey?" Mom asked, walking up to me and taking me to Amia.She looked away.

"Amia..I am sorry.I swear I didn't mean to do it.You know that I don't like him—

"I know" She cuts me off icily.

"Do you think I am crying because you are his mate? I am not stupid, Elysia.Its the bitter truth of having no other option than being shared among multiple men now.I am scared.I am sad" Her voice cracks in between each sentence but she continues.

"And I am worried for you.Nikona's ways are not for you.He is ruthless"

Fresh tears prickle in my eyes.I step forward and hug her tightly, whispering 'sorry' continuously.I couldn't help it.I feel a hand gently stroking my back.

I am so terrible.I really thought they would hate me.

I pull back and wipe my tears with the sleeve of the patient gown I was dressed in.

"Let's just hope you two can figure out a way" Mom said, tucking the hair strand behind my ear.I nodded.

We were discharged and came back Home.To my luck, I didn't come across Alpha Nikona on our way.His words from earlier continue to repeat in my head and no matter how hard I try to forget, it still stings.

"Elysia, I'm done.You can use the bathroom now" Amia steps out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around her.I nod, still stressed.

After a moment of stressing myself, I got up and headed to the bathroom.I took a long bath and sighed in content to feel a little better.

I reach out for the towel only to realize there was nothing.

I forgot to bring the towel.Amia was right that I tend to be absent minded when stressed.I open the bathroom door and step out naked.Its not like Amia and I haven't seen each other naked.Though we don't leave any opportunity to tease each other.

"Before you drool and comment, I know I am thick and it's hot" I said, sensing her presence in the other corner of the room as I straight walked to the closet.

"Clearly"

That was not very feminine.I whip around so fast that I almost strained a muscle in my neck.

There stood Alpha Nikona leaning against the wall with his arms crossed.
