145. Free Spirit

After awhile, I feel the plane begin to level off, the intensity of the turbulence dying down significantly. 

"Go!" Grant calls over to me.

I rush out of the seat, and run to Elena's side. I see her slowly begin to gain consciousness in my arms. I pull her close, letting her head rest between my arm and chest. I feel the fear slowly begin to diminish, as my body continues to register that she's ok.

I lean down and place a kiss on her head.

"Are you ok?" I ask.

"Y-yes." She says.

I frown at her, knowing for a fact that she's not alright. I can see a small trail of blood running down her head. From what I can guess, from where she hit her head before being knocked unconscious.

"I was so worried." I say

"I'm sorry." She says, looking at me.

"What are you sorry for?" I ask.

"When I woke up you were gone. Then the plane started to shake, I got worried. I wanted to find you. I didn't mean to worry you." Elena says,
