Ryan’s POV

While Charlotte was throwing the stars Lance returned with her harness, he quietly placed it on the bench so that he did not distract her.

“I am not sure I like you being this good a shot” I laughed “What if one of us piss you off? I like my junk in one piece”

“As if I would ever hurt your family jewels” she chuckled. “My kids might want to play with our kids”

I stared at her in shock, but she did not seem to realise what she had said. I glanced at Jack who had a far off look on his face with the ghost of a smile. Did the old dog want kids with her? Now that was a new development. I never thought any of us would have kids, I thought we would all just grow old and die together. Then again in this line of work growing old is a gift.

Charlotte toddled down to get her stars while the rest of us started to pack up. “What’s for lunch?” She asked when she got back.

I looked at my watch and realised that she was right it was lunch time.
