Jack’s POV

As we got back to the house I went to my office and tried to get some work done. I looked over the surveillance footage again of him stood right outside my office. I tried doing image searching on his face, but nothing came up. I held my head in my hands feeling like a failure. I had no idea that she was being abused. I saw her everyday and she worked closely with me working on all my meeting and advertising needs. I did not even notice Ryan walk in until he spoke.

“You ok boss?”

I looked up at him shocked that I did not hear him come in “just stressed that he will try get to her in the hospital. I think I might talk to them about her coming home sooner”.

“I am happy to be there tomorrow and make sure she is safe if you like. She knows and trusts me”.

As much as I wished it could be me to stay with her. I knew I had to go to the office and act normal. Also, she seemed to like and trust Ryan, I knew that she would feel safe and comfortable with him “That would ease my mind,
