I lunged out of the bed and rushed to the bathroom as my stomach twisted painfully until it emptied its contents. Dmitri’s concerned voice came from the doorway behind me as I crouched over the porcelain bowl, “Are you ok?” I tried to say I was fine, but only succeeded in dry heaving. “I don’t remember you ever getting sick before.” I wiped my mouth with the back of my hand and sat back on the cold stone floor.
