The bland look plastered over the young man's face clasped her heart for a second thinking that he was with the vampire but then he did something which was enough to break her blunt accusation, Neil shot an odious glare at the vampire mildly pulling Fleur behind him completely hiding her away from the greedy red eyes of the vicious ogre.

"Caius Vlad," Neil took the tongue-twisting name of the bloodsucker in front of him whose smirk widened in amusement.

"General Neil, nice meeting you." The creature commented nonchalantly which burned Neil's insides in rage, the pale barbarian looked too much chill than he should be, especially after getting caught by one of the strongest witches.

"Let's call it a day, give her to me and I'll go from here without any chaos." Caius proposed an obnoxious offer earning a small chuckle filled with incredulity.

Neil's one arm was wrapped around Fleur who was hiding behind him, clutching his coat, she treated him as her shield thinking that on
