Melody’s POVSo this is the wolf that stole my daughter’s heart. I took in his nervous nature as he sat down and I tried to lighten the mood, Teddy obviously not liking that our little girl was going to be taken away from us far too soon for our liking. I sent him waves of calming energy though, patting my stomach slightly. I haven’t told him yet; waiting on the doctor to confirm I’m really pregnant.We had been given the rundown from Axel and Jason, both revealing more and more of what my baby girl had endured; so I felt it present to see what mate Nix had picked out for my daughter. I held Lucy against me as we drifted in the large pool of the upscale hotel, her eyes fluttering as her body relaxed with a sigh. I had done my best of wiping blood off of her before we soaked, but her hair and the rest of her really needed to be completely submersed.She slept through all of it, even when I took her out of the water, drained the tub, and let us soak all over again.
