LOGINLucy’s POV “Of course.” He smiled at me, taking my question as a yes. “Son, go and tell our guests to get ready for the ritual.” Leon left with the others in the room, leaving me and Shepard for a minute. “Just wait here and rest, then we’ll come and get you when it is time.” He followed the others out of the room, pulling the doors closed behind him with a grin while watching me. “Be on your best behavior.” The doors had a rattling click as a lock slid home, leaving me with the blue walls in this room looking like raindrops rolling down glass. I stayed in a pool on the floor, laying down on my ruined white dress with my arm out next to me. “I’m fuuuuucked… aren’t I?” I asked no one in particular, letting the feelings of the wolfsbane roll over me. ***** Adam’s POV “Good event sir, we are glad you could make it.” I handed an omega my invitation as I made it to the door of the swanky building, smiling and trying to look like I belonged. “Indeed. Tell me; did they really g
Lucy’s POVEverything was spinning and melting; my arms and limbs not my own. I could see and feel when the wolves around me moved my body; their faces melting from fur and teeth to soft skin and human. I felt dizzy and disoriented, not being able to take account of time nor the passage of it. I closed my eyes, only to wake up in a car, the wolves around me somber and serious.“Give her another shot, we cannot have her acting out again.” The same male as before spoke, his skin melting into a skull as another shot was administered into my arm.“Bas…. tard…..” I got out, the word making me giggle. I said the last part over again, giggling my ass off at the way of how it sounded like “turd.”“Shut up.” He growled, his hand striking me across my mouth.I didn’t feel it though, the wolfsbane giving way to something other than woozy feelings, making me feel light as air and as carefree as could be.“Seems she is going into the trip phase. We cannot give her any more for the next day or two
Jon’s POV“Finally…” Suzy mumbled in the headset as the airport came into view, Chad having switched over his headset to speak to air traffic control. “Are we gonna dispose of this human when we touch down?”I nodded to her, knowing what our mission was. “No witnesses or loose ends. We can’t have diplomacy from overseas getting in the way. Plausible deniability to who actually has her,” I indicated to the princes on the floor, the girl starting to move now; “and her precious stone.”“Goddess, this thing is turning into a nightmare.” She grumbled, still not happy about our extra tag along.“Another half a day, and we’ll be sitting richer than ever; don’t ya worry.” I winked at her as the ground became closer, Chad landing it close to a hanger that was separate from the rest of the airport. I could see a private jet that was primed and ready to go, a few wolves from Black Sanctum waiting to greet us.“This is it, partners; hopefully never be seeing ya again!” Chad chuckled and turned hi
Jon’s POV “There he is!” I pointed to the black helicopter that flew overhead, the searching police getting more desperate as I heard wolves a few miles off. It sounded like they had found where we ditched the car, more than likely hit on our trail now. I put on a burst of extra speed, Suzy keeping pace with me and my cumbersome load. I could see where our ride landed, the pilot jumping out as soon as he settled and pulling open the side door. He waived at us desperately, pointing behind us at something. I dared not look as I pushed myself to the limit in my human form, my legs burning painfully. I all but threw the princess into the chopper as I climbed in myself, Suzy pulling the door shut as Chad climbed into his own spot and started the propellers to full; getting us off the ground just as the first wolf came into my view. I felt the helicopter shake a little as one wolf from the group jumped with all of their might, catching a landing bar and sliding back off to the ground
Felix’s POV “Hello, Beta Frost. It seems that Jon’s father passed about three hours ago, heart failure.” He shook his head as the ambulance went by, a body having just been loaded up into it. An old woman stood in the door of the house looking heartbroken, but her spine went stiff as she caught sight of my Uncle and I in the car. “Fuck.. damnit..” Uncle Axel punched the wheel of the car, making the officer wince. “I heard about the missing Princess, but I’ve been tied up here. I’m gonna go out and search with the rest of them now.” The officer scurried off, thinking that my Uncle was cussing at him for not searching as well. I saw the old woman motion us to the door, my uncle still slumped over the steering wheel. “Uncle, we need to go talk to her. I think she may know why we are here.” I said, a gut feeling stirring in me. He sighed and got out with me, mumbling about waiting time. “Frost… I take it you both aren’t here to give me condolences.” The white haired old woman si
Felix’s POV My Uncle gripped the steering wheel hard, his eyes glued to the road. “Now isn’t the fucking time.” He finally gritted out. “I’m heading to Jon’s parent house and your sister is missing and possibly dead.” “And I can’t very well help you find her if you’re shutting me out completely.” He hadn’t even let me go with a cruiser, the police we had at the party even offering me to ride along. “That’s not true…” he gave me a glance, the lie obvious between us. “Listen, Uncle. You’ve been there for me for as long as I can remember, and the last thing I’d ever do is hurt you or your family.” I was laying it all on the line now, knowing that if we couldn’t work together, then there wasn’t any hope of my situation getting better with him. “So if this arrangement the Goddess gave me and your daughters is too much; if it is pulling you and your family apart, then I’ll reject them for you. You’ve been like a second father to me and I’d hate to lose that relationship.” I saw hi
