The letter.

“Father?” Liza tries to get her father's attention. “Stop this!” She asks us while she sees us angry. I guess it's not the best scene after a reunion of so many years.

Austin just leaves the place fuming from his ears, while I stand there stunned by what he just told me. Will he take my son away from me? So scared, I also fled the place, getting into my car without even saying goodbye to Liza. So, very scared, I drive six hours back to my small fishing village, where I will at least be somewhat safe, away from him.

When I get home, I take my son up to our room, and I notice that my mother is not at home. While I put Austin to bed, I take off his clothes, and when I take off his jacket, something falls to the floor. I ignore everything to cover my son, who always suffers from the flu this season. Afterward, I prepared food to get out of that difficult ordeal. I don't want Dustin to take my son from me, and I even less want him to start investigating my whereabouts. I pray this is just
