17 hours... That's how long it had been since I said the words. How long it had been since she looked at me like I wrecked her world. What I never expected … was what it would do to me.
My head was throbbing, and there was a dull ache in my chest. No matter what I did neither of the feelings went away. Was she feeling this too?
