The eye of the storm

"Mama can we go further away from here  I want to swim like you." Jade said pleading with her mother put on her best smile.

"No baby it's too deep over there and  there is a storm coming, We have to remove the safety nets and some structure so that it will not be destroyed. You stay here with granny Lola and stay away from trouble.."

"Okay . But how did you know that there is a storm? "

"The  weather man said." Ruby frown Jade is again on her endless queries.

"How did he know?" The child continue with her endless queries much to Ruby wanting to satisfy her questions she is running out of time.

"Tell you what my princess, you stay with aunt Lola she knows more compared to me. Now give me a kiss." The child obliged,and run inside the house searching for her grandmother.

They spent the rest of the day removing and putting away the safety nets and everything  that might get caught in the storm.
