~REX’S POV~

She stood there; her gaze fixed on me, not averting her attention from me. She took out her notebook and scribbled something before handing it to me.

Rex?

My eyes widened as I realized she had not forgotten about me, my love.

However, why is she mute? Why did Mum not state that she was mute?

I stood there, tears streaming down my cheeks. I waited for her for millennia, unable to process that. I was incapable of accepting that I had let her down. Regrets about how we met decades ago raced across my mind. We met for the first time on the day I stole her innocence. I lost her the following morning. I ne
