CHAPTER 36: Karma
Sat in darkness and silence, Edward was working on finding his solace in it. Though, it was no where yet somehow he was alive. Merely breathing but alive.
Suddenly, his peace of mind got disturbed by distant voices, some uproarious and some haughty. His brows furrowed together on hearing his father shouting at someone. He had never seen him doing that before.
"How fucking dare you touch my Minha , huh?!" He was yelling in deranged tone.
Edward's brows cocked up hearing the name of his one and only elder sister who moved out of the house a year back and had gotten bit distant from them. At first, it was weird but then Edward grew used to it. Their father's wealth and influence had made her independent at an early age.
Though, no doubt, Edward was the one who had gotten most benefitted from his father's influence. But right now, when he needed his father's influence the most, his father dearest had backed away, causing him to mentally writh in abandon
