Jaykob's wolf is a huge silverback. I'd never seen him shift before and it isn't very comforting. His aura screams alpha more than it had before. I feel it now. The power radiating off him is terrifying. Warheads were never supposed to be able to take rank.

We were experiments created by wolves who had once been human. When they realized that former humans couldn't rise in rank the way born wolves do, they did what humans do best. They took things too far. The first group of Warheads was called The Plague. 

Unlike us, these wolves weren't genetically created through our parents. They were altered as teenagers just before their first shift and it broke something inside of them. They became machines used to hunt down alphas and omegas. They weren't sentient. At least, not in their wolf form. And they only answered to their creator.
