LOGINThe world thinks The Fox is dead. That’s exactly how she planned it. Born to two of the most powerful superheroes on the planet, The Fox spent her life trapped behind mansion walls, brutal training sessions, and the crushing expectations of heroes who cared more about perfection than their daughter. To the public, General Storm and Lady Rose are icons. To The Fox, they’re the reason she learned how to survive bruises with a smile. So she vanished. With the help of the only person who ever truly loved her, The Fox fakes her death and disappears into the underground, determined to build a normal life far away from capes, cameras, and violence. New name. New city. New rules. But the world is falling apart faster than she can outrun it. Monstrous creatures are crawling out any crack. Entire cities are collapsing overnight. And when the Fox discovers the terrifying truth behind the outbreaks, she realizes her family may not be the heroes humanity believes they are. Now hunted by the people who raised her and haunted by powers she tried to leave behind, The Fox has two choices: Keep running. Or turn around and fight.

IT IS FINALLY CONFIRMED!
OUR BELOVED LITTLE FOX HAS FALLEN!
General Storm and Lady Rose are heartbroken over this freak accident and have asked us to give them the space needed to grieve.
The TV was turned off immediately after the news finished talking about my "death.” It took just over a month for them to announce who the possible one death was. My nerves were starting to get the better of me as I began to worry if they were ever going to announce who died in the storage explosion. I sank deeper into the cheap armchair that sat in my lonely living room. Realization hit me as I sat in silence. I cannot believe it worked! After over a year of so much careful planning. I was free from my family. The chance at a normal life was in the palms of my hands. A NORMAL life. I am not even sure I would have been able to make this happen without my nanny, Elizabeth. She raised me my whole life. Elizabeth was more of a mother to me than my actual mother, Lady Rose. Elizabeth knew exactly what kind of hell I was in living in that place that was supposed to be my home. This is why, after I was punished for begging to go to school to be a normal kid, she and I worked in secret to make this plan fail-proof. Once we had the money and resources for me to start fresh, I just had to wait for the perfect opportunity to fake my own death.
Once I went underground, she could never know what happened to me. Or where I ended up. The ID she got me would only be temporary. I tossed them for new ones the moment I could. It was the safest way for her not to be implicated in my running away. The chaos would be unimaginable if my parents knew I wasn't dead. It did make me wonder if they genuinely believed me dead or if they thought I might be alive. Thinking I had been lying about not wanting to have an everyday life anymore, that it was a silly teenage dream from watching too many teen movies, and that I would rather train and be a superhuman like them, just without powers, of course. I would not dare to try to answer that question. If I did, I would certainly be caught.
Elizabeth gave me the name of a lady who runs an underground witness protection program for abused women and teens. They help them get new IDs and identities to start a new life. They were a group outside the law who helped people escape dangerous situations. That the courts would take forever to deal with, or worse, get bribed away, so the victims could continue being abused. Going this route gave me the best odds of success because of my family's ties to law enforcement from being heroes. I wouldn’t be surprised if someone on the police force was in my parents' pocket. I have no definite proof of anyone being in their pocket, though I had my suspicions because they would get a lot of mysterious calls at odd hours of the day and night. One time, curiosity got the better of me, and I followed them. With all the training they gave me, I was able to watch without fear of being seen. I decided I would follow them a few more times and see what I could figure out. They kept meeting up multiple times with a blonde cop with a rose tattoo behind her ear. I never risked getting close enough to get a real good look at her. From what I could see, was that she was of average build with blonde hair, Ivory skin, and then a single rose tattoo behind her ear. I had a funny feeling that was a symbol she was loyal to my mother.
Before heading into the underground witness protection program. I dyed my hair black to hide my famous red curls. I even French braided it so they could not tell how curly my hair was. I also got brown contacts to hide my green eyes. I did everthing I could do to hide who I was. The only thing I knew I would struggle with hiding once I was back in the real world was the scars on my body and the birthmark on my hand. I kept the scars on display while under ground. I used make up when ever I could to hide my birthmark. This could not fail. It took me over a week to finally get to my final destination. I would have gone further but I got nervous with the lack of my death on the news. I didn’t want to go too far just in case something happened, and I had to go back. I was passed around to five different families, who changed my name each time I was with them to hide my trail. I wonder if they knew the truth of who I was, would they still help me? With the scars on my body from ruthless training and fighting it was easy enough for the people who passed me along to believe I was abused and sold to bad people, and I had no way of getting free from it all unless I had their help. I had to be careful of how I talked because of my higher education, or the ruse would fail. Criminals don’t beat and abuse a kid who might come from rich and powerful families. They would just keep them safe and blackmail them until they got the money they wanted. Kids from poor families are the ones who are usually physically abused. Finally got to the last person on my trip to my new life, she was the only one who asked me what I wanted to have my new name be. It took me a minute to decide on what I wanted to be called from now on and it was clear who I wanted to be, I would never see this person again, and if I did, I had to pretend I did not know them, but I wanted to honor her.
Elizabeth... Elizabeth Hawks. With the final buzzer, we split up. I climbed up high. My strength was in quick, sneaky attacks. I could do close up combat, but I tire out quickly. Mr. Griffin gave us radios in case of an emergency. I stayed close to the school. Watching and waiting for the mutants to arrive. I was rusty, so I was fine with dealing with stragglers. I wasn’t sure what caused a group of them to gather and randomly attack. Even with all the studies my parents paid for to better understand them. They came up with nothing. They even tried coming up with a cure. But no luck with that either. Sometimes it felt like they appeared out of nowhere. That’s how random the attacks can be. That is why they created buzzer systems like the one at the school. To give people a chance to run and hide. There were many bunkers built throughout the city for this reason. Biters couldn’t break through much. They are only dangerous to people if they break the skin and fluids from their bodies are exchanged with the open wou
Mutants have a distinctive scent. It goes along with their overall wrongness. They smelled like rotten earth and industrial buildings. Depending on the type of mutant, all they had to do was be near you, and you could become infected. Only superheroes can defend from those because they have some of the mutant genes in them, so they don’t turn. If you don’t have the mutant genes in you already, you’re at risk of turning into a mutant. Those mutants are rare. It’s more common to face the ones that if they bite you or break your skin, you become infected. But it was always better to be safe, then dead.I turned to Cindy, asking if there was a safe place for students to lay low while mutants attacked. I had to get her to safety. Fear clouded her eyes, and they darted all around; her body shook in fear. She was in shock. I slapped her across her face.“CINDY!” I yelled her name. Grabbing her by the shoulders, shaking her. She snapped out of it. “Cafeteria,” she said. I grabbed her by the
My head cleared from the fog of pain. Ezra had me on his lap. Head on his chest. He was rubbing gentle circles on my back. I wanted to nestle myself deeper into his embrace. The smell of him was subtle but calming. It reminded me of the forest and coffee shops. Deep. I could easily lose myself in his embrace. At that thought, I instantly jumped up and pushed myself away.“Whoa, little mouse, all is okay.” Ezra calmly stated, hands up.“I… uh…” I wanted to say something, but I didn’t know what. Ezra stood up, making his way to the door.“I will give you some space, you blacked out from the pain, I assume, from the way you screamed and didn’t answer my knocks, I’ll be out here, come out after you relax.” He didn’t seem upset; he just walked away to give me my space. I took a few deep breaths, centering myself again, and walked out of the room. Ezra was in the living room, talking on the phone. He turned when he heard my approach. “Okay, we will be heading back now? Okay. Bye.” Ezra sai
I remind him of someone he lost? Sarah? Was that who he lost? I had so many questions about that, but I held my tongue. Now wasn’t the time. The nurse was busy, so I decided to go to the bathroom and check out the damage myself. Cindy came into the bathroom and gave me a look like she wanted to talk, so I let her in. Ezra sat in one chair near the bathroom looking like he would rather be anywhere else. I helped myself to an ice pack and some bandages. Like I told Mr. Griffen, this wasn't my first black eye, probably not even close to the worse one I had. I think the worse one I had, I made a mistake and got beaten up by the gang my parents ordered me to follow. I ended up losing consciousness, and they were gone by the time I came to. When I went home I told my mom and dad how I failed the mission and couldn’t find those people. They made sure to punch me in all the places I had marks from them to really drive home the point of my failure. I made sure I never made a mistake like that

We walked into homeroom together. Cindy was talking about classes and how some of the teachers are, but I felt her voice fade away as my eyes were drawn towards the back of the room to the cocky guy in the back with his legs up and lounging back, our eyes meet and gave me a small wink, I made sure
“Two classic burgers with fries!” I yell over the clanks of plates and the chatter of customers. I dance around from one table to another serving food and taking orders. For some people, this dinner rush was crazy and chaotic. However, I loved it. I love challenges and thrive under pressure. Grante
