Healing

Third Person's Pov.

Bella awoke in far less pain and was surprised to find out that she was healing.

The return of her wolf and some nutrients had already helped. Bella hasn't healed this fast in years.

Suddenly she became very aware of the body next to her, his hard thigh draped across her own.

Her breath caught in her throat as the day before events came rushing back.

She wasn't ready to meet his father or Beta.

She wanted to leave,run away,become a lonewolf.

As if sensing her reservations Hunter stirred,instantly reaching for her.

He jumped up instantly when his hand landed on her left breast.

Bella blushed a deep Crimson as heated in her core.

Hunter clearly hadn't meant it, he was out of the bed and dressed in a flash.

"I'll be back with breakfast, how do,you have your coffee?" He asked avoiding her gaze.

"Thick cream, 2 sugars" she managed,weakly, it had been years since she had a coffee and she would savour it!

With a slight pause Hunter left to get the breakfast.

Bella sighed a breath of relief and decided this was the best time to test her body.

She sat up,the pain was bad, but easily manageable.

Her cast were heavy but she suspected she needed them.

She lent and hit the machines off the wall, wall,holding her breath so she didn't scream.

To her delight it stayed silent Bella began removing the many IV tubes before setting her injured legs on the ground and testing her weight.

The pain was instant, but nothing compared,to what she had to in the past. Bella continued one awkward hobbled step at a time.

Determined she headed for the ensuite, dying to feel clean from her old pack, her old life the old bella.

Bella grabbed a presumably clean shirt off the chair and made herself at home in the bathroom.

The hot water felt good on her skin the casts were fully waterproof of which she was thankful for,she hadn't thought of that.

Bella had almost scrubbed her skin raw by the time she shut the water off.

She had waged her hair three times and ensured every part of her was clean from the abuse.

No one had,fully cleaned her since the attack from Kingston and she had felt dirty and disgusting.

By the time Bella dressed up in a shirt and opened the bathroom door, hunter was standing wide eyed and furious
