Finally awake

Emily's POV

,"Rise and shine, wifey."I heard a familiar voice penetrated my eardrums.

I felt a hand caress my cheek.I slowly lifted my head,from the bed searching for the voice

"You are finally awake," I exclaimed, glad to,see the view in front of me. I showed him a,big smile.,"How long have you awake?" I asked looking,at the time.,"Long enough to mesmerize your sleeping,face."He teased with a sweet smile on his,face.,"How are you? Feeling better?" I asked in,concern,ignoring his remark earlier.,"I'm glad you are worried about me." He,ignored my question.,"Who said I'm worried about you." I wanted,to test his reaction.,"This proved it." He lifted his knuckles that,were wrapped by my hand and a smug smile,crept on his lips. I didn't realize that I was,still holding his hand. I released his hand,immediately but he wouldn't allow it to,happen instead he intertwined our fingers,together.I didn't wriggle as I don't want to,add more pain to his bruised knuckles or,maybe this was what I want
