"You have the girl? What were you thinking telling Dante you will handle this?" uncle shouted without hiding his disappointment in me. I shrugged leaning back in my chair relaxing my shoulder which is still hurt.

"Somebody tried to steal our shipments last night, almost succeed, I was lucky the bullet barely touched me and this is what you are here for?" my voice came out more annoyed rather than angry.

He opened his mouth and closed it soon enough at the loss of his words.

I clasped my hands bringing them closer to my face, "What, nothing to say now? admit it you were too busy following Dante like a puppy that you don't even know what happened."

"Even you know it's bullshit I'm doing what's best for business," he says with a hard face ignoring eye contact.
