Gabriel was sitting in his study that night, deep in his thoughts. A lot of information about the Adler family was still unknown to him, but one thing he could agree on was the truth that he had made the right decision by keeping Selena by his side. 

"I wonder if she's sleeping now. Does her foot still hurt?" Gabriel mumbled with his eyes focused on the blank wall.

'Wait! Why am I thinking of her?' Gabriel thought.

At that moment, his phone suddenly drew his attention back to the room as it vibrated on the desk. He then reached out for it and answered.

“Hey, Dan. Do you have any information for me?” Gabriel asked.

His worries seemed to subside a bit when his friend's name appeared on the phone's screen.
