Aurora made special tea as she poured it into two cups and walked to the guest room where Nova was staying. She opened the door and walked inside with the tray, she placed it in front of them.

Draken smiled at her and Nova held her hand and made her sit with them. After a few minutes, she stood up to leave but Draken held her wrist.

"You both should spend some time together. There must be so much to talk about," Aurora whispered in a soft voice as she walked out not before giving Draken a reassuring smile.

"Who did this to you, mom?" Draken asked, looking at the scar on her neck and she shook her head. Her face had that look of agony and she forced her eyes shut.

"It doesn't matter. That was in the past. Let's not talk about it," She said, holding his big calloused hands as she scrutinized them.

"How did you come here?" He asked.

"I escaped when my last owner died. He was old but a kind man who only bought me as his maid. For a year I was just living on the streets," She whispere
