Emma’s POV

I hadn’t realized how much I missed the simple things until Killian brought them back.

A late lunch where we didn’t talk about diapers or stock prices. A shared milkshake with two straws like we were nineteen again. His fingers laced with mine under the table, stroking absent circles along my palm, sending shivers through me like it was the first time he ever touched me.

We laughed more freely that day. About nothing and everything. He reached across the table to wipe whipped cream off my upper lip with his thumb and whispered, “Still the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen.” My cheeks flushed like I was back in college, giddy and completely undone by his attention.

It was healing. Grounding. A reminder that we were more than just parents, executives, providers. We were still Killian and Emma. Two people who once couldn’t stand each other. Who now couldn’t imagine a day without the other.

  • Ruthless Temptation   A New Beginning – The Tuscany Home

Emma’s POV: The morning sun filtered through the open windows of the villa, casting soft rays of light on the newly furnished space. It was surreal, stepping through the doorway of what had once been just a dream, now a reality. The Tuscany vacation home was everything they had envisioned and more. From the rustic charm of the exposed beams to the grand view of the rolling hills outside, it felt like a piece of their future had taken root here. I smiled as I turned, watching Killian as he stood by the window, his broad shoulders framed by the picturesque landscape. His presence, as always, filled any room. Today, however, I saw something different in his gaze. There was a sense of peace, as if this home was more than just a place to escape; it was where we could truly begin our next chapter, together. “You know, it feels like we’ve just stepped into a dream,” I said softly, my voice a little shaky with the emotion of it al

  • Ruthless Temptation   Back to Us

Killian’s POV The hum of the jet had lulled Emma to sleep beside me. Her head rested on my shoulder, her fingers still loosely wrapped in mine. Even in sleep, she looked peaceful—serene in a way that reminded me of that sun-drenched afternoon in Tuscany. I glanced out the window. Clouds stretched endlessly below us, and yet my mind wasn’t thousands of feet in the air. It was grounded—back at that villa. The one that felt like a promise waiting to be kept. We’d made the first call before we even left the country, already in talks with our legal team to move forward. Emma was already talking design ideas with our interior consultant. But for now, reality waited back home: kids, school, work, and the life we’d built. And I couldn’t wait to step back into it. When we landed, the kids were at the front door before we could even get out of the car. Amelie launched into my arms, and Alina, always a little

  • Ruthless Temptation   The Promise of Tomorrow

Emma’s POV The winding roads of Tuscany unraveled before us like silk ribbons, golden light spilling across rolling hills. Killian reached for my hand as the car crested a slope, revealing the villa perched just ahead—a beautiful, rustic estate with terracotta roofs and ivy-covered walls that felt like a dream suspended in time. I sucked in a soft breath as the car rolled to a gentle stop in front of the stone archway. “It’s… breathtaking,” I whispered, unable to tear my gaze away. Killian smiled, his thumb brushing over my knuckles. “Wait until we get inside.” We stepped out into the warm afternoon sun. The air smelled of lavender and old stone, of earth and possibility. A local agent greeted us, unlocking the front doors and gesturing for us to explore freely. The house, she explained, had been restored but preserved in its original charm. We’d have the space to make it ours. We wandered slowly t

  • Ruthless Temptation   Dreams in Tuscany

Emma’s POV The sunlight poured through the villa’s arched windows, casting golden warmth across the terracotta floors. I stepped into the grand living room, fingers brushing over the aged stone wall as the scent of rosemary and sun-drenched wood drifted through the open doors. Outside, the Tuscan hills rolled endlessly, dotted with olive trees and rows of grapevines. Killian was already at the far window, gazing out in silence. “It’s even more beautiful than the listing,” I murmured, joining him. He glanced down at me, his hand finding mine. “It feels like… us. Peaceful. Lived-in. Strong.” We walked through the space together, room by room. A rustic kitchen with a wide butcher-block island. A sprawling garden with cypress trees lining the stone pathway. A deep soaking tub that practically whispered you need this. In the master bedroom, I paused by the wide open French doors that led

  • Ruthless Temptation    Dream Foundations

Emma’s POV The villa’s terrace was sun-drenched, the warm breeze dancing through the white linen curtains as I sipped on my second cup of coffee. My laptop was open beside me, a dozen property listings from coastal towns and wine valleys scattered across the screen. Each one had its charm—beachfront cottages with panoramic ocean views, hillside estates surrounded by vineyards, secluded lake houses with wrap-around porches. None of them felt quite right yet. Killian stepped outside, shirtless and freshly showered, toweling his hair and flashing that sleepy grin that still made my stomach flutter after all these years. “Still scrolling through villas?” he asked, leaning over to press a kiss to my cheek. I nodded, setting my mug down. “I want it to be perfect, you know? A place the kids can grow up making memories. Somewhere we can escape to—away from everything, just us.” His hand brushed my shoulder

  • Ruthless Temptation   Our New Rhythm

Emma It had been a few weeks since we dropped Alina off at college, but the quiet in the house still caught me off guard sometimes. The silence wasn’t empty—it was just… different. Softer. Calmer. There were no sudden bursts of teenage energy, no last-minute shopping sprees for school supplies, and no heated debates over outfit choices or curfews. Now, it was just us and Amelie, our quiet, slightly more independent second child, who was growing up faster than I’d ever expected. He’d taken Alina’s departure with surprising maturity, perhaps sensing the shift in the household and stepping into his own version of big-kid responsibility. But even with one child still at home, the difference was tangible. Killian and I had time to see each other again. Not just in passing, not just in the blur of a chaotic day, but truly see one another. Our morning ritual hadn’t stopped—it had only deepened. Every sunrise started the
