Chapter 24

MICHAEL POV.

I was starting to get worried when the two conversations were too long. I didn't know what he was saying to her or doing to her.

And just as I was about to go in, he came out without Diane. A quick bow and he left, leaving me alone outside.

"Diane," I called as I saw her cleaning her eyes and looking at me. "Yes," she answered, a bit cold.

"Are you okay?" I asked. "I'm fine, I just want to be alone," she stated. "You know, you don't have to do that anymore, you don't have to fake your feelings, I get it very clearly that I'm your slave and I'm tied you," she said, carrying a bag before leaving me alone in the room.

I didn't know what have upset her, if it was her father's word or if it was the pregnancy. She didn't sleep in the bed, she sat at the window looking at the bag she was given.

Which made me curious and eager to know what was in it. I left the next morning only returning to hear her crying to Drew at from the door.
