The moonlight spilled gently through the window of the hospital room, casting a silver hue over the still figure on the bed. Alaric was awake now, stronger, though still recovering. The machines were quieter. The air, more peaceful.

Seraphine sat by the window, arms wrapped around her knees, her chin resting quietly. She hadn’t spoken in some time, letting the silence speak for her. But her eyes stayed trained on him—alive and breathing.

ALARCIC (softly):

“You’re always watching me.”

Seraphine turned, blinking the mist from her eyes.

SERAPHINE (smiling faintly):

“I’m just making sure you don’t vanish again.”

He tried to sit up straighter, wincing a little but managing.

ALARCIC:

“I’m sorry… for worrying you.”

She rose and walked to the side of the bed, taking his hand carefully.

SERAPHINE (quietly):

“I thought I lost you.”

There it was. The weight she had carried for days. Her voice cracked.

SERAPHINE:

“You didn’t scream. You didn’t call for help. They found you alone, bleeding, barely

  • SEALED FATE   The Lost Truth

The moon hung high and cold above the Vaelthorne estate, casting silver light through the glass as Seraphine twisted in bed, drenched in sweat. Her fingers clenched the sheets, lips murmuring unintelligible words—then a soft, broken scream slipped out.Alaric was there instantly.“Seraphine,” he whispered, gently holding her shoulders. “Wake up. You’re safe.”She jolted upright, eyes wild, gasping as if breaking the surface of a deep, dark lake. It took a moment before her gaze focused on him.“They were chasing me… fire… chains… voices I don’t understand,” she whispered. “Always the same dream.”Alaric touched her cheek. “You’re here. You’re with me.”But deep inside, he was rattled. The nightmares were growing stronger. Clearer. And now, her aura flickered at night—powerful, ancient, not at all human. He had long ignored the suspicion that clawed at him ever since she had told him her full name months ago:“Seraphine Elira.”The name "Elira" wasn’t common. And it wasn’t random. He h

  • SEALED FATE   Journey to the Old Mansion & Meeting the Parents

The Vaelthorne carriage rolled through the dense forest that swallowed the path to the ancestral estate. Trees, twisted with age and forgotten magic, leaned inward, as if whispering secrets. The road was rarely traveled—its silence broken only by the steady clatter of hooves and the occasional cry of a raven overhead.Inside the carriage, Seraphine sat across from Alaric, her hands clutched nervously in her lap. She wore a dark velvet gown, simple but elegant, the fabric chosen by Maika herself to honor the old ways. Alaric’s hand reached across, folding over hers.“You’re trembling,” he said gently.“I am nervous, would they like me? can i face their judgement?” she whispered with a faint smile.“You’ve faced worse. You’ve faced me,” he answered, the corner of his mouth twitching into a rare smirk. “Just stay by my side.”As they passed through the old iron gates, the mansion emerged—tall, cold, and brooding, like a ghost risen from time. Its grey stone walls bore the scars of old wa

  • SEALED FATE   The Collapse and Recovery

The wind howled faintly through the trees as the night deepened over the Landon estate. Alaric walked down the corridor with a book in hand, intending to read beside Seraphine before sleep. But as he neared the balcony, a chill—cold and unnatural—passed through him.“Seraphine?” he called softly. No response. His eyes landed on the open glass doors. The balcony curtain danced in the breeze, and just beyond it, the silhouette of a collapsed figure.“Seraphine!” The book dropped from his hand as he rushed out.She lay sprawled across the cold stone floor, her skin pale as moonlight and her body faintly trembling. Alaric knelt beside her, scooping her into his arms.“Wake up, please,” he whispered urgently. “Seraphine…”He carried her inside just as Cane and Maika rushed in, alerted by the sudden surge of magical energy that flared—then vanished—in the estate.---Scene: Cane’s Examination“She’s breathing steadily,” Cane confirmed minutes later in the infirmary chamber, running a diagno

  • SEALED FATE   "The search"

The white facade of Saint Amandé Children’s Hospital gleamed beneath the fading sun, far more polished than the crumbling St. Meridia. Modern, clean, full of laughter and the scent of antiseptic—but Valco sensed the truth beneath it. Something buried. He passed through the main entrance with the ease of someone who knew exactly how to be invisible. The hospital's internal wards buzzed with calm chaos: children laughing, doctors paging overhead, parents whispering with hope and fear. But Valco’s path was silent and sure, leading him deeper into the facility. His contact in the Vellaria network had told him exactly where to go: the East Wing, Ward 4. Records claimed it had been renovated—but something always remains. He approached the nurses’ station. The young nurse behind the desk blinked up at him. “Can I help—?”“I’m looking for patient records. Room 417, October 06. Transfer from St. Meridia.”His voice was calm, low—yet something about it silenced the nurse mid-sentence.She paled

The grand hall of the Landon mansion shimmered with soft golden light, its chandeliers reflecting in the polished floors, the scent of sandalwood and roses dancing in the air. The household had been prepared since morning—staff instructed, silver polished, and the dining room arranged in a formal but welcoming manner.Seraphine stood by the marble staircase, clad in a modest but elegant lavender gown chosen for her by Maika’s attendants. The fabric hugged her slight frame, her hair loosely braided with tiny pearls woven in. She looked like a painting—fragile, serene, and quietly noble.Yet beneath her grace was an unspoken anxiety. She didn’t belong here. Not among such power. Not among elites. But then Alaric took her hand.“You’re with me,” he said softly, as if reading her thoughts. “That is enough.”Seraphine looked up at him, those silver eyes of his steady and sure. And for a moment, the tension in her chest melted.Caveen was the first to approach them at the doors of the dinin

  • SEALED FATE   Shadows and Secrets

It was near midnight in the Landon estate. A cold draft wound through the stone halls like a whisper of dread. Maika stood at the edge of the window, her arms crossed tightly as she stared into the moonlight. Behind her, Carl paced, his expression grim. CARL (tense): “Celestine knows. Lady Jane, too. I caught them whispering outside Lysandra’s room. They know she’s with child.” Maika’s jaw clenched. CARL (cont’d): “They’re scheduled to return to the capital tomorrow. If they tell the Council—” MAIKA (flatly): “They won’t.” Carl turned sharply. CARL: “They’re not easy to manipulate. And the Council—” MAIKA (cutting him off): “We don’t need the Council to know. Not yet. That child—our grandchild—must be protected at all costs.” She turned to a small locked cabinet and retrieved a black onyx vial, sealed with a silver sigil. CARL (quietly): “You’re using memory magic?” Maika nodded, her voice cold as the northern winds. MAIKA: “I won’t allow anyone—especially that Dela
