Chapter 3 The meeting

6am at room 2931

Aster tries to open her heavy eyes

" so this is hangover? or the after effect of the drug? hmmmn" she thought

" my head is so heavy then my body is so sore" after realizing and remembering what really happen last night her eyes grew big and glanced at the man peacefully sleeping beside her.

" oh shit! what have i done?" she carefully get out of bed and dress up instantly, she doesnt want to wake up the man.

Before leaving Aster looked at the face of the man, "oh atleast he is good looking better than Dane" she smiled

She immediately left.

"Goodmorning my lord does the drug wears off already" Sean tries to wake up Carl

"Hmmmn where is she?" ask Carl trying to open his eyes

"who my lord?" replied Sean

" The one you bring last night, the pretty one"

" My lord I think your mistaken I did not brought you a girl because you said so" Sean was puzzled

"What?? then who is the girl im with?" touching his temples to relieve his heavy head, he then looked at the bedsheet and saw the evidence. He is not dreaming he had a woman last night

"Maybe Vanessa my lord? ask Sean

" No she' s not Lycan but a human, find her every details and report it to me immediately I need to go back to the company now"

"Yes my lord" says Sean as his eyes caught the dried blood in the bed, that proves that his boss really had a woman last night but then who is it?

He instructed the manager to provide all the CCTV footage of the hotel.

"Where the hell did you go last night?" ask Dane the medical Director.

"oh Im really sorry sir, I was not feeling well so I got home first" she replied.

"my bad you missed the fun by the way do you want to have dinner at my place? I'll cook for you?"

"Maybe some other time sir I have some work to do" rejecting the offer then she tries to focus on her laptop totally ignoring him.

"hmmmn okay then call me if you change your mind" telling her while leaving with darkened face he already sense that she knew about being drug last night.

"My lord here are all the details to the woman you've been with last night" says Sean as he enter the Presidents office and handed Carl the Folders.

"Aster Carello? hmmmn a Doctor? really!! interesting why would she offer herself to me?" ask Carl.

" with that my lord I think she accidentally enter your room, coincidentally you're both drug last night I have all the CCTV footages you can review all" replied Sean.

" Bring her to me I'll asked her personally " Carl smiled naughtily.

" yes my lord by the way the madam is on the way here, she was so angry you rejected her calls regarding the engagement"

" okay I'll wait for her" Carl calmly reply

Sean left the room.

After sean left a well dressed and sophisticated women enter the room.

"Carl are you insane? did you know what have you done? Nadia scolds her son.

" Mom i dont want Vanessa she drugged me last night" trying to ignore her mother

"Then who will you marry then? your birthday is next month you knew that you should be married before your 29th birthday."

"I know mom " reassuring her mother

"solve the problem you've cause, your father is so angry" said Nadia before stepping out of the office.

Its past 8 in the evening when Aster finish her duties in the hospital. She first ate a sandwich in the cafeteria before heading to her car but when she opens her door a mask man grabbed her inside and took her keys to start the car, then they put a white cloth in her nose. she then lost consciousness.

Aster finds herself in the bed of a luxurious hotel room.

"Where am i?" the room seems familiar.

she closed her eyes trying to remember it then suddenly the door opens.

Out of shock she jump out of bed as her captor showed his face.

"Oh shit what the hell? why is this man here" as her eyes grew big from surprise.

The man closed the door and offer her to seat on the couch while he grab the chair and seat infront of her.

"According from your facial reaction you already remember me do you?" looking directly to her.

His eyes were deep and captivating, sometimes asking the god why did they bless this man with godlike appearance, a perfect one.

"What do you want? we only had a one night stand, whats the big deal then? " she immediately withdraw the eye contact.

"What your purpose on climbing on my bed and offering your virginity to me?" he ask.

Aster blush and avoided his eyes looking at the window. speechless

"why would a respectable doctor would do that? if you're trying to get pregnant, you knew that our DNA is not compatible whats the real purpose then? asked Carl.

"Okay! You want me to answer you? To be the head of my department i was aiming for that for a long time, you were Carl Landon the owner so you can promote me, did i answer your question?" she had no other alibi to say for sure if she told him the truth he will not believe her. She better thinks of more rational excuse. Thankfully, She had research Carl's profile already to know the man who she had given her virginity. She was relieve that it was a lycan so the possibility of getting pregnant is zero but what happening now is beyond her expectation.

why would Carl looked for her hmmmn.

Carl was silent but his eyes was focused on her while she tries to avoid it.

" okay then but you must comply with my condition" says Carl he secretly smiled

" Yes I'll accept any conditions" she replied

I'll call my assistant to hand over the agreement
