CHAPTER 14

I drooled while staring at the food. "Are these all Italian dishes?" I asked while looking up at him.

He nodded. "Yes, they were the first three dishes that I learned from my mom. They were easy to cook, that's why I chose to make them for you."

One of my eyebrows arched slightly. "Just for me? Aren't you going to join me?"

He shook his head. "I still need to finish my paperwork. It will be quick. I'll do it while you eat and after that, let's do stargazing."

"Where?"

"My veranda. The space there is wide."

"Okay," I then smiled. Then I took the spoon. I was about to take a sip of the soap he made but I noticed he was still standing in front of me so I looked up at him. He stared at me. "What? Do I have dirt on my face?" I asked with raised eyebrows.

"You kept smiling."

I raised an eyebrow at his answer. "And? You have a problem with my smile?"

The young man quickly shook his head. "No, just eat," he said before he left in front of me.
