Amos didn't think Sera understood beauty. The sound of the violin was so beautiful, soft, and heart-wrenching. Didn't he know how much she cared about him?Amos shook his head. "I don't need any medication." He felt fine. There were only wounds on his body that could not be treated with medicine. "Drink," Sera ordered in a soft voice.Although gentle, Sera's command was truly frightening. Amos gulped. He looked back at the three pills in his hand. Feeling it was useless to refuse the woman's order, Amos swallowed the medicine in one go and finished the glass of water.Sera stood up from her chair. Amos reflexively moved back.
