Sera smiled at how Amos ate the food in front of him. He only used a fork and ignored any cutlery. She was quite happy that Amos could eat like a human.

Amos looked down and focused on eating his food. He knew Sera was watching him, but he didn't want to think about it. He just hoped he hadn't made a mistake. As he ate, he swallowed the food. It tasted strange but delicious.

In the slave house, they had the same meal schedule every week. Apart from vegetables, they also get other nutritious foods such as meat. But, he had never eaten food like what he was eating right now.

"Can you smile?" asked Sera.
