CHAPTER FIVE-For You

Maddison was sitting at her desk making notes, she saw a nicely dressed woman walk past her door. The secretary let her in so she must know who she was. She felt jealous immediately. The woman would only be going to see Philip and he was the only other person on the floor. She was itching to get up and go see what she was up to. Was she and old girlfriend? The Ex-wife?

Just then her intercom sounded. ‘Maddison honey, come here a minute.” “On my way.”

Maddison gathered herself together and headed to Philip’s office. She pushed the door and tried hard to put a smile on her face. For some reason she was nervous.

As she approached the two people, Philip smiled at her and held out his hand. “Maddy, this is my ex-wife Kate. Kate, this is my girlfriend and VP of Dalton.” Maddy gasped.

“Hello Maddy, you look familiar, not sure where I would have seen you before though, nice to meet you.”

“She used to dance at Kilox Elite.” Philip said proudly. Kate’s eyes opened wide as full recognition set in.

“Ah, yes, the girl who made men want to lick the floor under her feet.” Philip laughed.

“Philip don’t be cheeky; she is beautiful with a figure to die for.” “Yes, and I would do anything for her.”

Maddy was confused.

“Philip…” Maddy didn’t want Kate to feel bad.

Kate looked at Maddy’s face and giggled.

“I’m glad he has you. Philip and I weren’t suited, we always knew that, and I guess we needed something that the other couldn’t provide. We are good now. He is helping me with my parents and my baby.”

“Oh! Congrats.” Maddy said genuinely.

“Thank you. Philip, I have to get going, my flight leaves in a few hours, I don’t think we will see each other again but I will send photos and videos if that’s okay.”

“That’s fine. Good luck with everything and if you do decide to tell him, you have my approval.”

“Thank you. Maddy keep him in line, he tends to want his own way.” She stood up and much to Maddy’s surprise, Kate hugged her and whispered in her ear. “He loves you, hold on to that.” Then Kate left and closed the door.

“You made up?”

“Yep, didn’t need bad blood between us and she is carrying my family, so until Mike steps up, the child will not go hungry.”

Maddy walked over to Philip and kissed him on the lips. She found herself in his lap as usual. As they kissed passionately, things began to get hot and heavy. Within minutes Philip was ready to throw her on his desk but he didn’t want to be rough with her again, so he pulled his lips away from hers and tried to catch his breath.

“The things I want to do to you Maddy.” “I can’t wait.”

“Come on, we have work to do.” Maddison laughed and left his office.

Over the next few weeks Maddy got into motion with Dalton Corp. Philip had held a meeting at the end of her first week, to formally introduce her to the staff.

“Good morning, everyone, Mike Kilian is no longer Vice President here at Dalton Corp, he is no longer an employee and must not be allowed into the building under any circumstances. To my left is our new Vice President – Maddison Peter. She will also be head of the Marketing Department.

At this time, she will say a few words and then it’s back to work. Maddison.” “Thank you Mr. Kilian, it’s a great pleasure to be here, I know I’m new and it will take a while to get to know all of you, so go easy on me for now.

I promise I will do my best to keep with the success that Dalton Corp has seen over the last ten years and to push the views and goals that are a staple to the company. Thank you for taking the time to be here and have a wonderful day.”

Maddy finished with a gentle smile. She noticed a few people looked at her with scorn. She could hear a few whispers as well; they were not good at all. The butterflies in her tummy grew to the size of hippos. Philip glanced around at everyone, noting expressions. He was pissed. “Thank you Maddison. Come with me to my office,

so we can go over the next project and what is expected of us for the next few weeks. “Yes sir” Maddy replied softly.

When they got to their floor, Philip sighed as he saw how dejected Maddy was. He watched her walk to the window to take in one of the views of the South Coast.

“Maddy honey.”

When she turned, she said nothing but the tears running down her face spoke volumes.

“Come here.” Philip said in a serious tone, opening his arms.

She did as he commanded, and she sat on his lap. She loved when he did this, it made her feel loved and cherished.

“What did you hear?”

“Someone said I was a fat bitch, another one said if I stood on the stage any longer it would collapse. They don’t know me Philip, why would they say such things, especially when I can fire their ass?” She quickly covered her mouth. Philip laughed.

“You have my permission.” Philip said, looking into her eyes and wishing she was naked. He loved touching her.

“Oh, I couldn’t do that.”

“Uh yes you can, you are the only one who has the power to fire anyone under you and everyone here is under you. Don’t let anyone disrespect you or your position. You are a brilliant, sexy, humble, talented woman, my woman. If you believe I need to intervene, call me, other than that, fire their ass.”

Maddy shifted a bit when the usual thing happened. They hadn’t made love since the first time, and she was beginning to think he was tired of her already.

“Stop that.” She wiggled.

“Maddy…” Philip warned.

“I miss your touch Philip, have I done something wrong that you don’t… well ya know.”

“I’m giving your body time to heal; I was a bit rough with you that day.” “Oh. Is being rough a bad thing?”

“I don’t want to hurt you or make you’ think I need to hurt you to feel pleasure. I got carried away. I will never get tired of you Maddy. What did I say about doubting me?” “Sorry, habit. I’m self-conscious around you. You are sexy, commanding, women drool when you smile. I want to be the woman you desire, the only one. I don’t think I could handle it if you cheated on me Philip.”

“I would let you go before I do that honey. I know what that feels like, but I should say though, I feel the same way when it comes to you. My heart would be crushed if you cheated.”

“I need you now Philip.” She whispered as she kissed his cheek. “As you wish.”

A cell phone was ringing. Maddy was closest and she didn’t check to see whose phone she picked up.

“Hello?” Maddy answered sleepily and accidentally pressed the speaker phone button.

“Hey Maddy, you and Philip are late for your meeting with the department heads.” Andre’s voice came over loud and clear. She wasn’t even surprised that Maddison answered Philip’s phone. She grinned. “Crap, tell them give me fifteen minutes, I have um ah, something to sort out.” Philip responded as he sat up on the bed.

“Okay boss.” Andre ended the call laughing. Since Philip had brought Maddy into his world, he smiled more, his demeanor was more likeable. She knew they were already having sex, or at least getting there. Maddy came to work, and a hickey was peeking out from under her collar and Andre had given her some powder to hide it. Andre was glad for Philip, he was never the player type, and he normally selected women who had pride in themselves, which confused her

when he married Kate. God she hated that woman but Maddy, she was sweet from hair to the soles of her feet. Always a kind word, always sharing pleasantries. She was as genuine as ever.

Andre went back to the board room and notified the heads that Philip would be another twenty minutes and to please be patient.

One man whispered… “Have you seen the new VP and Head of Marketing? I would take a crack at her; she has an ass that goes on for years.”

“Yeah, did you see those breasts? God a man could get lost in them for months.” Another man replied.

Andre cleared her throat.

“I would suggest gentlemen, you keep those thoughts to yourself. Mr. Kilian holds Ms. Peter in high regard and if he heard you speaking like that about her, it would not end well for you.”

“Oh come on Andre, we are just poking fun. She is actually a brilliant woman with great ideas, but you cannot ignore how she looks.”

“I am not blind Jack but again, keep that to yourself.” Andre walked away and left the room. She grinned at the older men, they were right about Maddy but if the Boss heard them, he would discontinue any relationship with them – for her.
