ARES’s POV (MATEO’s STEP BROTHER)

This thing was taking longer than it should be. I mean it was also our right to do this. At a table with my other brothers, we all sat around in a rage. We were beyond angry.

“Hey, we can't keep whining and wailing forever you know? We need to get that stupid step-brother of ours to sign the documents, so we can take our share of the properties.” My little brother Harris blurted out, and he was right.

“You know what the most annoying thing about all this is? The fact that the one who holds the key to our freedom and is not even very related to us. If Dad had just kept his legs closed and not fucked that bastard's mother, he probably wouldn't even be here right now.. In this world.” My other brother, Elijah added.

I hated my father for what he did, for getting another woman pregnant, but I hated Mateo even more for coming into my family and ruining it.
