"Do you have feelings for Colt? Do you love him, Lilith?" Carla asked, her gaze fixed on Lilith.
When Lilith heard what Carla said, she was taken aback. Her cheeks reddened as her heart pounding loudly. Her feelings towards Colt were so weird that she couldn't pinpoint what they were. She was second-guessing herself about what she needed to say to Carla. After all, Lilith had no idea how she felt about Colt.
"You seem to be having trouble determining what you really felt, Lilith," Carla said as she let go of Lilith's hand. "I guess, for now, you should rest so that your mind can feel at ease as well," Carla said.
Carla also gets a glass of water and Lilith's vitamins. She then returned to Lilith and offered her the vitamins.
Carla said, "Drink up and sleep."
