I quickly got off when we got to the house and left Alexander. I was greeted by a shocked maid and quickly told me where mom was when I asked. I saw mom watering her plants in the garden. She turned to me and smiled, quickly releasing her grip . She quickly came to me and hugged me.

"Thank god, you're here. You make me worried son, I won't be able to contact you again. I'm just worried about you, you don't even allow me in your house. Is there something wrong, did something happen? Margaux said that you're not going in the company for months now. What's going on son, you know you can tell mommy." She broke away from the hug and grabbed my cheek and caressed it. I shook my head and grabbed her hand on my face and lowered it. She looked at it in surprise, frowning when she looked at her hand.

"Son?"

"Mom, tell me. Do you have something to tell me? Are you hiding something from me?” Her eyes widened and she stepped back. In her expression, I know she really has something to tell me.
