Mills stood up from his bed after hearing this news. His demeanor showed confusion.

It’s a mansion, Stella, she might have wandered off. Ask the maids and ladies to search for her. Mills commanded.

Even though Stella had asked all the maids and a few guards to search all the nook and cranny of the house before coming to mills, she scurried out of the room in other not to annoy Mills by saying she already had.

Mills put on a shirt and marched out of his bedroom irritated at the possible childishness of his wife.

He got to the main living room and sat down, thinking of all he would say to put her in her place when they found her

A few hours later after he had become restless and there was no news as to his wife’s whereabouts and it was becoming obvious that Gabby was not in this large mansion, Mills himself joined in the search.
