The household spent the rest of the day ransacking the mansion. By the end of it, it was obvious the good wife of their beloved boss was definitely missing.

They all went to bed on an empty stomach with more work to be done the following day and Olivia was no longer a member of the house.

Mills refrained from making any conclusions, he was brewing with anger, if he made any rash decision now, it would be detrimental so he too decided to sleep on it even though what he did all night was pace around and wonder where his little woman had run off to. He knew she was tough, and very stubborn too, but she was far from her parent's home, the way back to them might be dangerous for her without an escort. He believed that if she was gone, then it had to be that she was on her way back to her parent's house.

Mills sighed, seemingly satisfied with his speculations, he decided he would send Rolland and another guard to his little woman's parents' house before dawn.
