STELLA He looks up at me and smiles, making me smile. He then gets back to his feet and we move back into the bedroom. I, however, leave the door open, not quite trusting him fully yet. STELLA Damian then gets to his feet, walks over to Aurora’s crib and picks it up like it weighed as light as a feather. After everything that was needed was moved into the guest room, Damian said his good nights, allowing us females to do what we wanted. Over the next week, we all fell into a routine, Hannah or Sophie would stay with me overnight and Benjamin would spend the day with me, I very rarely saw Damian and when I asked Benjamin about him, he just told me that he was around if he was needed. STELLA I am woken from my restless sleep to Nora unlocking and opening the door, holding a screaming Aurora. She walks over to me and says, “I wouldn’t have a clue of how to look after one of these little monsters. I can never understand why anyone would want one of these things. AXEL I make my way into the pack centre, surprised that there is no one around, as there are always people around, no matter what time of day or night. Once in the pack centre, I noticed 3 figures hanging in the memorial arch. I run over and see Benjamin, Hannah, and Sophie all hanging from silver rope. I quickly move to the side and undo one of the ropes, I see Sophie drop just a little so I use my weight to keep her from falling to the ground as I step forward and then grab her around the waist tightly before I release the rope allowing her to slump into my arms. I carry her away from the arch and set her down so she is leaning up against a tree. I remove the rope and throw it off to the side. She slowly stirs as I move quickly back over to Hannah and Benjamin. I do the same with Hannah next, except she whimpers as I take the rope off her wrists. "I'm sorry, Alpha..." "Shh... It's okay..." AXEL “Now we will be splitting into 2 groups. Each group takes 2 of the territories I have marked. Now, as you all know, my pack is one of the biggest, with just over 2,000 members before the attack. Beta Benjamin said that there were at least 2 rogues per pack member, so we are looking at a rogue pack in the vicinity of at least 4,000-5,000 members, one of the largest I have ever heard of. However, with a pack of rogues that big it means that she could be distracted a little with trying to keep them all from fighting each other. We will split all the warriors that are here in half...” I stop as a young male comes running into the war room. He stops just inside the door, now a little hesitant, I continue to look at him and when he doesn’t say anything I sigh “What is it?” He bows, “Sorry to interrupt Alpha, but I just got a call from a couple more Alpha’s. AXEL “Killing her would not work as I would still not mark you. I would just kill you...” I growl out, low and threatening, wishing that she wasn't still holding Aurora. Nora then turns to a large rogue who is standing behind her and passes Aurora to him. She then steps forward, her eyes flashing again as she says with a strong voice and her head held high. “Okay Axel, if you want a challenge, then I challenge you." She then lowers her voice and does something that I have only ever come across a couple of times before. She whispers as if she is standing right next to my ear, "However, just remember Axel, that my rogue males hold your females... If I lose, then so do you!” I had a feeling that she would use them even with challenging me. She is using them to make sure she wins. With what she just said, if I win the challenge, she has given them orders to kill one or both Stella and Aurora, so I lose either way. STELLA Selene gave me back control after Conner and his friend left. She didn't say anything, just moved into the back of my mind, curled into a ball and whimpered. I don't know what they did to me as Selene had me completely blocked out, but if her reaction and how sore my body is, is anything to go by, I wouldn't have been able to handle it. I go and have a quick shower to get rid of whatever Conner and his friend did to me. When I get out, I find a towel and wrap it around me and then have a look in the mirror and gasp. I look at the bruise on my cheek and then down at all the bites, cuts and bruises that cover me. They start at my shoulders, go down my arms and disappear under the towel. I remove the towel just a little and follow as they travel down my body. A shiver of fear runs through me at what Axel and Wulfric will think of me now. Will they both still want me? STELLA Conner trails his mouth along my shoulder, kissing, sucking and nipping as he takes another small step back. However, suddenly he stops. I look over at Wulfric and Nora, thinking that the fight is over, but they are still fighting. It is then that I hear the whisper of another male's voice. I don’t hear what he says. However, Conner carefully removes his lips from my shoulder and then removes his claws from my neck. I let out a slight sob as the pressure from his claws digging into my neck is released. Conner then slowly releases the arm that is wrapped around my waist, allowing me to take a small step forward. The male behind us then forces Conner onto his knees. I turn slowly, a little scared to see who it is. I then press my lips together as I try to stop myself from bursting into tears when I see Benjamin standing in front of me. Benjamin smiles and holds out his arm and without hesitation, I step into him. Without touching my skin, he uses his claws to remove the rope
