A Promise

Lucienne had skipped breakfast along with Diana and now that it was time for lunch, she was very hungry.

Diana had gone out in search of her body so Lucienne was the only one home, well except for the fact that Lucas was still around.

Lucienne walked to the dinning room and was glad that lunch had already been dished out.

She quickly sat before the meal with a soft and glad smile on her face.

She was about to dig into the meal when she heard that same familiar voice.

"Cherry? Sister in law?"

Lucienne took in deep breaths and gulped down as Lucas sat opposite her, dropping a small box on the table.

"Yes, Lucas" her voice trembled but at least she did not stutter.

"Are you okay?" Lucas asked and she bobbed her heard in positive response.

"Yes, I am"

"You seem a little bit terrified, you do not like this place?" Lucas asked her.

"Uhm... I guess so"

"I got you a gift" Lucas pushed the small box towards her.
