They got into the cafeteria and Aurora ordered a burger and juice while Jenny ordered hers.
"Let's go sit over there" Jenny pointed to a free table and Aurora nodded following her over to the table.
She settled down on the plastic chair and uncorked her mineral, taking a bite from the burger, she closed her eyes to relish the heavenly taste.
"Are you going to be okay with just that or would you mind joining in my pasta?" Jenny asked pointing at her plate of pasta which aroma was wafting through Aurora's nose.
Pasta has been her favorite meal ever since she was a kid but she needed to save so she had long stopped buying food other than snacks and juices from outside and she's not a person who would share food with someone especially when she isn't yet familiar with the person.
She looked down to the pasta which was calling on her to devour, swallo
They got to the school and Aurora sighted her sister standing with a boy who looks younger than her and smaller."Maya" she called the attention of her little sister who turned alongside the boy she was sitting with."Oh, that's your sister? She's so beautiful and the boy is my kid brother" Jenny said getting more happier.Rora's sister knows her brother and they seemed to be friends too."Ooh..." Aurora drawled waiting for the kids to get to them."Big sister" Maya squealed hugging her sister tightly as she got to her, Aurora carried her up and spun her around further increasing the girl's happy giggles.Jenny stares on, her eyes widening as she stares at her colleague. She never knew Aurora could be a playful type and she even smiled. Her smiles are so beautiful and she wonders why she acts
Aurora got to her room and banged the door before Craig could enter."Really Rora?" Craig muttered from outside the door rubbing his head where the door had hit him."Yes, go away since you are not ready to stop talking about useless things, you might as well go home and sleep or get yourself a wolf if you so badly want one" Aurora yelled going towards her bed to lay down. She was exhausted and doesn't need any more disturbances. Big Mandy had already caused her a lot of stress and right now she only needed a long deep sleep.Hours later, Aurora climbed down the stairs after sleeping for hours to see Craig still around. She shoot up her brows and walked towards him as he lay on the only couch in their sitting room operating his phone."You are still around Craig? Aren't you going to work today?" She asked sitting down on the
"Sit here and wait for me, Do not wander off cos I won't look for you, I will be quick" Aurora suddenly muttered hastily moving forward without waiting for him to reply.Craig sighed and nodded then sat on a pavement praying for her not to get caught. He doesn't still understand why she still had to do this when she had gotten a job."I hope you achieve your desires so you could drop this bad attitude of yours, Rora, if only you would listen to me and accept who you really are, I'm sure everything will turn out good for you" He muttered to himself, his eyes searching around for where she could be.Finally sighting her walking behind a man on a leather jacket, he sighed knowing she was about to take out his wallet. He didn't see her do it but he knew she had taken it out because she had moved away from him as swiftly as she came.He waited for her
"So you really skipped work just because of that man Craig? What was that his name again?" Aurora asked her best friend as they both walked home. She couldn't believe Craig would refuse to go to his workplace when his shift started just because the dude from the other day finally gave him a chance."What would you have me do then? I waited for him throughout the morning hours and when it was time for me to go, he appeared and actually sat before me, and you think I'll throw away every effort just for that coffee shop? Duh!" Craig rolled his eyes."You just amaze me Craig. Like how many more people would you roll with as you call it?" Aurora asked raising her brows as she stopped walking."Darling you have no idea what you're missing, if only you could have a taste of a man, you will not stand here to ask me such questions" Craig smiled."There's nothing to taste Craig... I do not
Ignoring Aliya and her meaningless rants as she called it, Aurora carefully tucked the money and wallet into her almost worn out bag separating the money from the wallet. She was going to sell the wallet because it looked very new and something that would cost a lot of money so there would be no way she would be throwing it away. She rested her back on the chilly wall, wondering how she would get out of the wine bar without anyone noticing her especially big Mandy whose eyes are always sharp like torchlight. And what if that man is still there? She couldn't help but panicked. He might find out his wallet was missing and maybe try to ask her. What ever happens, she could not stay inside the changing room for ever. She needs to get out as soon as possible.Aurora held tightly to her bag and was about w
She still couldn't believe a man with such amount in his wallet would be in a local slum. What could he be doing in a place like that. He was also on a mask Making it obvious he wasn't an ordinary man.Well whatever his reasons for coming to the slums was, I don't care. I'm grateful he came bacause if he didn't, then I wouldn't be this rich now" Aurora screamed out.She was shocked to see such amount in his wallet because the highest she has picked in a person's wallet was two thousand dollars and that was in the city and not in the slum."Twenty fvcking thousand dollars" she screamed again for the umpteenth time, still in disbelief."I wonder how Craig would react if I should disclose this information to him" Aurora muttered with a smirk thinking on how to break the news to her friend. He might probably run mad screaming on how da
Aurora looked at Craig with a perplexed and a little annoying expression. Why can't this fool ever think positively about anything she tells him?"Why do you always look cranky whenever I tell you my ordeals?", Aurora asked him, a little annoyed."Rora, you are my friend and I will be very hurt if anything bad happens to you. Please Rora, stop this already. You might be caught and end up in jail", Craig pleaded.Aurora sighed before walking up to her friend who obviously looked concerned about her."Listen Craig, I won't be caught. I promise. Stop wishing me bad luck. Be happy for me, buddy", she tried talking to him."Happy that you are a thief? Happy that you might go to jail? Aurora, I don't want to lose you", C
Aurora looked angry but shook her head to keep Aliya off. That wolf always barges in and out of her head. Aurora wished she could teach her a lesson. That meddling wolf!"She keeps talking like you. I wish I could give her to you, Craig", she said."What did she say?"Craig was curious."Nevermind her", she said downing another glass of beer."But seriously, Aurora. Why don't you stop this? You will surely get in trouble someday. Haven't you ever thought of embracing who you are?", Craig asked."Craig, I am Aurora. No one else. I won't be forced to become what I don't want to", she said, more like trying to convince herself."You can't change it. Even though you live among us, you are still a werewolf. You really can't change it, Rora", Craig emphasized."Do you believe I can smack you right now?", Aurora asked with a threatening look.
