CHAPTER 9

“I’m home” Elder Gina arrived at exactly 8. a.m. and she brought a lot of supplies, food, medicines, and materials supplies.

“Elder Gina, you’re already here, how’s the central city?” Kim asked her. “it’s been 2 decades since you didn’t see the central city, maybe it’s time now that you need to visit there.” Elder Gina replied to him.

“Are you sure elder Gina? I want to visit at the central city, I’m sure that everything has changed, the place and even the entertainment area.” Kim said while his eyes traced a bit of excitement.

“Yeah, sure I don’t have any choice, if I do not agree, I’m sure that you will be annoyed and force me to allow you, so go ahead, but remember, always be vigilant and keep safe. A lot of ferocious animals roaming around this mountain.” Elder Gina allowed him to go to the central city to have a look.

“How about you wifey? Can you come with me?” said Kim to her.

“Grrr!, stop calling me wifey ,elder Gina is here” Alex gritted her teeth. Elder Gina smiled at them, she was happy that Kim and Alex had become close to each other again, she remembered when they were both kids, elder Gina was the one who witnessed their love story, now that it’s been the same as before, the moments and memories bring back together.

“elder Gina don’t listen to him he is crazy” Alex uttered still claiming that they’re was never a sweet and romantic relationship between her and Kim.

“It’s okay Alex, I knew it already” Elder Gina replied with a calmly charming smile to her.

Alex blushed as her cheeks reddened like tomatoes when she heard that elder Gina knew it already, she couldn’t deny that her relationship with Kim was not an accident, she loved him and Kim loved her, so she didn’t have to worry or hide from elder Gina rather to her mother Molina.

“Thank you elder Gina,” Alex thanked her.

“remember that I’m also a woman, our women's instinct was always to be right. I will not interfere against you and Kim, I’m happy that you found who you are, this is my request, whatever happens between you and Kim, please do still keep your love and stay with Kim.” Elder Gina’s words penetrated Alex’s heart. The most beautiful advice and words that she had ever heard.

“Thank you elder Gina, I can’t promise but I will love Kim for the rest of my life,” Alex answered her.

“By the way Kim, I wanna ask my mom first if I want to come with you to the central city.” Said Alex to him.

“We will go together to your house and I will be the one to ask for permission from Auntie Molina, come on we will go ahead now, I’m excited to see the central city.” Kim is like a kid who would love to see his play Hood City before.

Kim used Elder Gina’s truck car, the wheels of the car were huge like a monster truck. He accelerated the car and they went to Alex’s house.

When they arrived at Alex’s house, Alex ran and approached her mother that she wanted to come with Kim to the central city.

Kim turned off the car accelerator and went inside Alex’s house.

“Auntie, can I have your permission? I want to go to the central city together with Alex?” he asked Molina’s permission.

“What do you want to do in the central city?” Molina said while she was trying to be furious but the way she saw the angelic perfect face of Kim was the way she became calm.

“Auntie, it’s been 25 years since I have seen the whole place of central city since when we migrated into the United States, that’s why I’m asking your permission” The way Kim said the way Molina felt his sincerity.

“Okay just wait here, I wanna talk to Alex first” Molina replied to him.

“Knock! Knock!, Alex are you done? I need to talk with you” said her mother.

“Come in Mom” Alex replied.

“Alex, yeah,” Molina pinched Alex’s side and her eyes like a little girl who would love to listen to her best friend's stories.

“Mom, what kind of look is that? I’m scared of the way you looked and smiled at me”. Alex didn’t even want to tell the whole story last night and this morning.

She covered the dry towel on her head while she was preparing her clothes.

“Alex you are my daughter and I’m your mother, please tell me what happened between you and the handsome creature. Is he a good kisser? Does he Have a good sex performance? Or he has a huge penis?” her mother's words were so vulgar and she was just acting like Alex’s best friend. Her eyes are full of excitement.

Alex didn’t listen to her mother but she secretly smiled, her mother noticed it that’s why she didn’t give up on convincing Alex to tell the truth.

“I saw it, I mean your smile, so does that mean that you and the handsome creature had sex last night? Oh my gosh Alex, you made it! You’re a certified woman now!” how can you imagine that only Molina, the mother of Alex was happy that Alex lost her virginity to the man she liked very much?

“Mom, stop it” Alex was shy, she was rubbing her palms and hands because she didn’t know how to start the whole story.

“Okay my daughter, I’ll understand, I’m here for you willing to listen to your story. Kindly tell me the whole everything obscenest act happened?”

Alex told her everything that had happened last night and this morning.

She doesn’t have any secret to hide from her annoying mother. The way she ignored the way her mother would interact with her.

When Alex got dressed up, her mother advised her.

“Alex, I’m happy that you’ve grown up as a beautiful lady, I’m happy that before I became too old and go, you found you’re a life partner. As your mother I want you to be happy. Please take care of yourself” Molina hugged Alex tightly, her eyes started to fall but she managed to hide it.

“thank you Mom, but please don’t say that you wanna leave this earth, I don’t want to hear that you will gone, Mom, I don’t know how to survive without you, please promise me that you were the one who witnessed my wedding and your grandchild,” said Alex while her eyes turned red then her mother tapped her shoulder to move.

“It's been 9 a.m. now, so you need to leave here before afternoon, 4 hours before to reach at the central city.” Her mother said and reminded her.

“Mom, I packed everything off my things and tomorrow morning we will arrive here,” Alex replied.

“Kim please take care of my daughter” Molina said to Kim.

“Don’t worry Auntie, Alex will be safe in my arms,” Kim replied to her and they waved their hands and left.

While Kim is driving, Alex suggests Kim turn the car into the left way.

“Wifey that was not the right way going to central city” said Kim.

“I know, but I want you to see, the most hidden places here, no one discovered this place since this place is forbidden to the public.” She replied to him with a bit of excitement.

It’s about 25 minutes before they reach their destination.

“We're here,” said Alex to him.

Kim was stunned when he saw the natural wonders of Mother Nature.

 “Wow! Is this really the falls? I feel like I’m on the gigantic falls of heaven.” This is Kim’s first time to witness the gigantic falls in his entire life. “The falls was about 500 ft. High. There is a colorful rainbow at the top of the falls and the rare species of the birds are flying and forming their formation. This is a hidden place for the public and only the family clan that was living in this place knew this.” Alex explained to him.

Kim was about to get out of the car to look closely but Alex stopped him. “don’t ever go out of the car, or else they will attack you without any reason. As long as that wild animal feels and sees the stranger people, they will not be friendly to you.” Alex reminded him seriously.

“I’m sorry Alex, I’m just overwhelmed because this is my first time witnessing such a rare moment.” Said Kim while his head bowed down.

The blue water of the river flows calmly, the birds hunting for their food, and there are other animals like deer and wild boars, zebra, lions, the tigers, also drinking the freshwater of the river. There are a lot of bears hunting fish for their food.

Kim witnessed all of them, he was amazed and said “What a beautiful creation of God”. After witnessing the enchanted forest the falls and rare animal species, Kim accelerated the car engine and they went back the right way going to the central city.

 After an hour of driving Alex fell asleep, Kim noticed that there were lavender petals and red tulips scattered on the road, and the rest were swinging throughout the air.

He smelled the fragrance of the flowers that’s why he followed the fragrance smell. He suddenly stopped when he saw something rare.
